Heat Of The Battle

With it just being me and Bakugo together at the library it is awkward. I would be fine if it were anyone else that I was stuck with but I was cursed to be here with Bakugo instead.

Although I may have been partnered with someone I don't particularly like we finished the work fast and we were able to communicate with each other on a more mature level than usual.

"Did you find the information we needed for this section?"

"Yeah. I will send it to you now."

This is how it went for the three whole hours. Bakugo would find the information and I would import the most important information into the slide show. Mina and Kirishima sent me the parts that they researched so I finished their sections as well.

We basically had to research four historical buildings and talk about their significance. I never liked history but this project was not so bad. I enjoyed building designs and architects typed things.

The day passed faster than I thought and we finished the project in no time. The original plan was to maybe finish half of it today, but I guess we got sidetracked. The sun was starting to set so Bakugo and I started to pack things up and call it a day.

We left the library with no exchange of words. I was heading the opposite way of Bakugo since I still need to eat some dinner.

"Hey, where the hell are you going?"

I flinch and slowly turn around so I am facing him.

"I am just going home."

"Do you think lying is gonna get you anywhere? You don't live that way dumbass."

"Wait, how do you know where I live?"

"I don't know if you have noticed but we live near each other. How unfortunate my luck is."

"Well, if you must know I am heading to a noodle shop so I can eat dinner."

"Most food shops are closed plus if you didn't eat then that's your fault."

"I guess. I will just eat some leftovers than when I get home."

We begin to walk home heading in the same direction.

"Hey this place is familiar, isn't it Boom Boom Boi?"

"How so?"

"Remember you spilt coffee all over me here."

"I still had nothing to do with that. You should've watched where you were walking. Plus who walks around with an open coffee drink? You were just asking for an accident to happen."

"Everyone does that and it was you who was not paying attention."

"Whatever Extra."

We continue to walk a little farther nearing our neighbourhood.

"Y'know, when I first saw you I thought you looked very familiar, but then again I would remember if I ever met you since you have such an explosive personality."

"Watch what you say Light bulb."

"Yeah, whatever. But have we ever met before now?"

"I don't think so. I am jealous of my younger self now since they never had to meet you."

"Oh come on I am not that bad. If anything you are worse. You call everyone names and you act like you hate everyone and everything especially that Midoriya kid. Why do you call him Deku?"

"Just a name I gave him when we were kids. Not that it is any of your business though."

"Why do you hate him so much though. During the battle exercise, I thought you were actually going to kill him out of hatred. Do you do that to everyone you met cause if so, then I will start running."
