"Father, this year when we go to Japan do you think I can go to the beach this time. I heard that it is supposed to be a nice area."

"Do what you want, we are only here for two short months to make some business deals."

It was always the same, each year for two months we went to Japan. The main reason was because my dad has some business partners here. I liked to think that it was because he wanted me and Iris to still be together as sisters.

"Master and Miss. Sasaki, welcome back to Japan. I hope your flight was pleasant."

My father had a personal butler in almost every country we went to like Japan, China, the USA and so on. I never bother to get to know them since they were paid to serve my father.

Our butler in Japan did seem nicer than most others. When I was a little girl he would always give me candies whenever we came to Japan and he still does to this day.

"The flight was bearable. Now please take us home."

We drove to our home in Japan and I will say that it was a little dramatic for only being lived in for two months each year but father always wanted and expected the best.

Luxury was always something that I was exposed to whether it be a brand-name purse or an expensive hotel room, I was never able to escape this lifestyle. If I am being truly honest I don't like this lifestyle and it is boring.

I turn 13 this year and I have always celebrated my birthday in Japan since that is where we are residence each summer. And every year my father gives me the same gift which is a designer bag, a different brand each year but the same concept so, which meant every year my birthday was not a celebration that I looked forward to. I never had a birthday party or a proper celebration with my father.

I hardly ever see my father when we are overseas. Most of the time he is at business meetings, or at fancy galas to find future investors. The family business is exhausting and not something I ever wish to be a part of. The Sasaki business corporation is known for selling new technology to mafia businesses. At odd times we will have investors from other regular companies but rarely.

Let's just say that my father is the number 1 seller to almost all mafia gangs known. As the future heir to this business, it is my job to learn the ropes. My dream is to escape this reality and enter into a new world where I can control who I am and what I do.

"Will my father be eating dinner with me?"

"No, your father has a very important business dinner to attend to."

"On the first day, we get here? Really?"

"Miss, you must know that your father is a very busy man."

"Whatever, I will have dinner in my room. Please tell one of the workers to put my meal outside my door."

The same routine occurred every day. I second the day in the house training, reading about new potential clients or looking out of my bedroom window. It never felt like a vacation even though that is what some people would call it.

Two weeks have passed since we arrived and it has been nothing but boring. I barely went outside or saw my father. The only company I really ever had were the workers and the bust bunnies collecting in the house.

Japan is such a beautiful place and it deserves to be seen. I wish to go outside but I need permission. My father always says that I can do what I want but he gets angry if I leave the house without him knowing.
