Missing in Action

I am waiting with the rest of the girls of Class 1-A until the second half of the battles starts. Momo and Jiro come walking over to us with their empty trays in hand.

"Apparently, the girls have to wear a cheer uniform for the cheer battle coming up," said Momo unpleasantly.

"Ha, yeah no way," Iris responded is disagreement

"We were told that it came straight from Mr. Aizawa and personally I don't want to get in trouble today."

I nod my head and agree with Jiro, "as much as I don't want to do this, I agree. Let's do it so we don't get in trouble."

Momo uses her quirk to create some cheer uniforms and we change into them in the changing room.

"Wow, these are actually really cute," Toru said.

"Let's get this done before I change my mind."

For this portion of the sports festival, the classes were just playing games for those who did not advance. It is supposed to be a fun activity for them to do since they don't get to participate in the main events.

"Hold up. Looks like Class 1-A is going full-on fan service."

"What you tricked us," Momo yelled at Denki and Mineta.

I stare at Mineta with my death stare and I threaten him in one glare.

"Well, this is embarrassing. Can I go crawl in a hole and die," Iris complained

"I will join you too."

"Well, we do have a little time before the finals set and well I kinda do like these uniforms so, how about we just roll with it!"

"Toru you are enjoying this way too much," I say in slight annoyance.

We just went with the flow and cheered for the players in the game. I hated this so I did not really cheer for anyone one but I did contribute by being there. That was enough.

Soon the games ended and the finals began. We are about to draw lots from the box to determine our opponent but then two people from Shinso's team forfeit. Players from Kendo's team are appointed then she rejects and instead refers to Tetsutetsu's team.

Tetsutetsu and Shizaki are now the two new students for the finals. The lots are drawn and our names appear at the end of the brackets on the chart displayed. It is the 5th game and I am against Aoyama.

I wasn't too worried about my battle plus it was still a while away. The first battle was Midoriya and Shinso and it sure was a sight to see.

Shinso was able to use his quirk on Midoriya and now he has full control of the battle. I am happy that Shinso is about to win but I also feel bad because Midoiya wants this so badly and He is going to lose it in a matter of seconds.

As Midoriya is right at the edge of the battlefield he breaks the mind control by sending a small shock wave from his fingertips. Shinso counties try to provoke him in hopes that he will respond but he doesn't and Midoriya then pushes Shinso out of the battlefield and he is trying to resist him.

Eventually, Midoriya throws Shinso over, causing him to be out of bounds and Midoriya wins the first battle of the finals. In the next round, he may be up against Shoto or Sero.

I had a strong feeling that Sero was going to do well but I also think that Todoroki might easily win. Sero tries to capture Todoroki with his tape but instead, he creates a big ice trap that reaches over the stadium. My class was facing the attack and the ice was right in front of us.

Todoroki melts the ice and he advances to the next round easily. Then, it was time for Denki's battle. He was facing a girl in Class 1-B named Shiozaki. She is lucky that she got the opportunity to participate.
