When mingi met adah they were both 14 years old . Both freshmen in high school and both from 2 different worlds . Mingi was on the football team while adah was that one quiet kid that everyone knew , so technically she wasn't popular , she just never talked so everyone gave her attention from time to time .
The thing is the students thought something happened to adah because most of them had been going to school with her for their whole lives . Adah used to be a very bright and talkative girl , but after she dated Mathew adah changed . I'm about 7th grade she stopped talking , her wardrobe changed .. she stopped hanging out with her friends . It was like she was a whole different person .
Yeah some people questioned it but others never saw it as their business so they didn't care much . Mingi wasn't like those rude ass boys on the football team , he was actually really nice and gentle .. which made him very popular with the ladies . All the ladies except the one he had his eye on . " you still watching her ? I'm telling you she hasn't spoken a single word to anyone in the last 3 years " one of his teammates named Kevin said .
"Who said she had to speak? , I can talk" mingi said as he made his way over to adah . He was nervous seeing as this was his crush . Adah wore a blue zip hoodie that was zipped only up to just before her breast . Under it seemed to be a black crop top accompanied with black baggy jeans and some retro black and blue Jordan 13s .
Yeah I said her wardrobe changed , not she started dressing like an emo . Just not as bright and girly as she used to .
Mingi sat down next to adah who had her AirPods in and her eyes glued to her phone . "Hi , I'm mingi" he said and she looked up at him and then back to her phone . He kept talking . "I was wondering if you were up for making a new friend?" He said , more as a question . She just typed away on her phone . When he looked up he could see that she was on YouTube searching for a video .
The bell rang and she got up and walked to her class . Mingi stayed seated but he was determined to get her to be his friend , making her talk would just be a bonus .
