"Your Majesty, you called?"

The light and elegant footsteps from the speaking woman echoed throughout the throne room. La Signora slowly props her elbow on her other arm, her fingers gracefully brushing against her lips thoughtfully as she raised her head.

"The time has come for the wind to fade and freedom to be seized," the messenger smiles.

"Understood."

The fair lady takes her leave swiftly, not wasting any time on her new task. She couldn't wait to pay a visit to the city known for its freedom and incompetent god.

Right as she turned around a corner, someone had crashed into her abruptly.

She was shocked, for she had not sensed the other person's presence until now. She looked down to see a certain girl's head against her chest in a daze.

"Who put a refrigerator here...?" She grumbled before stepping back and taking in the sight before her. La Signora's ears were flaming red from Y/n's comment. The little accident that had occurred shook her a bit.

"Looking hot, eh?" Y/n couldn't help but blurt out. Her hand immediately hovered over her mouth in realization, her lips pressed together like tape.

The woman she had complimented was the opposite of what she had described. However, even though her gaze was icy cold, her grace the complete opposite of the word 'hot,' and the elegant feathered dress that complimented her body, there was a certain fervor that Y/n couldn't describe clearly.

Good things are meant to be difficult to describe after all.

"Ahem... Pardon my rudeness. I am the Joker, how do you do, La Signora?" Y/n quickly responds, hoping it would ease the tension. She did not expect to bump into the other harbinger so fast and in such an inappropriate manner as well.

"I see, you are that one," she coldly replies, looking down at Y/n haughtily. "I'm busy. Perhaps we can talk another time."

She left with quick footsteps, leaving Y/n sighing in disappointment. She wanted to converse with the woman more but she was left behind before she could say anything more. Her hostility was expected but seeing her disdainful stare was quite intimidating.

It reminds her of another harbinger.

At the opposite end of the corner that La Signora had turned, a man had walked his way over.

"Damned clown! Why does she hide so well?!" an aggravated voice made its way to her ear.

'Speak of the devil..."
