The next Yumeko

(Maya POV)

Now that I knew that cheating was going on I almost lost all interest in the gamble. I mean it's not gambling if the winner is pre determined. But I still kept playing for the sake of everyone else's entertainment. "Awww don't tell me your scared now that I won double the amount of chips you did in the first round." I look up at Mary and roll my eyes to which she starts laughing. We grab our cards from the box and draw them Mary had put down a scissors while I had rock.

She slides me her chips "nice job Maya it looks like you have a bit of breathing room now."
I tell her thanks she also tells me that we will be moving into the final round of the game. I now take this as the time to expose her.

" well Mary if it's the last game then lets at least play fair."
She looks at me like I'm crazy.

"What do you mean play fair"

"I know that you've been cheating, I mean the person behind me has been helping you cheat right"
I can feel my eyes starting to glow purple
She looks at me like she almost traumatized
"Not again" Mary whispered
The black haired girl from earlier had moved next to the brown haired boy and look very excited. And could barley stay still. But as I expected I had won the gamble and Mary owed me about 2.1 million yen.

The blonde girl walked out of the room and looked broken. But then everyone started saying she was a house pet and I was confused as hell. I was about to go  to lunch but then I didn't know where the lunch room was. I walked back into the room and asked if someone could help take me to the lunch room. And the black haired girl from earlier volunteered.

(Yumeko POV )

SHE JUST DID THAT.
I didn't think she would find out how Mary was cheating like that. It's just like what I did. But for some reason I don't feel any sympathy for Mary. I told her to stop gambling every newcomer. But she still did. I think we all knew this would happen. But then Maya came back into the room and needed help finding the cafeteria. I raised my hand said I would help her and rushed over to her. I couldn't stop thinking about her just blatantly exposing Mary like that.

"Thanks for showing me around the school Jabami-Sama."
I don't expect for her to call me sama so I let out a little bit of a laugh. she was trying so hard to speak Japanese and it was cute.
" you may call me Yumeko"
" oh ok"
Then we start walking to the cafeteria and pass the garden. Then I see Kirari and Sayaka. I wave to them and Kirari walks up and the both of us start talking. And now Sayaka looks pissed but I don't care.

Kirari: "Who's this girl Yumeko"
Yumeko: "Oh this is Maya-San the new transfer student from Egypt."
Maya: "Hi I'm Maya."
Kirari starts to smirk at the girls neutral and somewhat nervous expression. I can only imagine what she is thinking of doing to the poor girl. Kirari then introduces herself. But doesn't mention she is the president and I look at her and she shakes her head.
Maya: "Well it's nice to meet you Momobami-Sama."
Kirari: "Sama I'm flattered."
Maya: "I feel like Duolingo lied to me, why has everyone been surprised when I called them Sama?"
I couldn't help but laugh and neither could Kirari.

Maya: "so the both of y'all just gonna laugh at me and not explain?"
I explain it to her and then it made sense for her.
But then 4 of us  start to walk to the cafeteria
" madam president I have paper work to do I need to go back to The student council room." Kirari excuses Sayaka. and the 3 of us go to eat in the cafeteria. Everyone starts to stare since Kirari barely eats in the cafeteria.

Kirari: "So Maya have you been in any gambles today?"

Maya: " Yeah I played with some Goldilocks looking girl."
