Compulsive Lovers

Impulse.

(Kirari POV)

It was a average day as usual but 3 things were different.

1. Maya got to school early
2. She is gambling impulsively in the gambling den
3. Sayaka is taking in insane interest in Maya this morning

I decide to take my seat next to Sayaka and watch as Maya gambles in the distance.  And the girl she's gambling with looks terrified. And I can't help the smirk that starts to form on my face, once I realize what Maya had just said before.

And I realize she far more blunt and impatient than i realized before And that she loves to lure people on, like she's doing right now. She easily could have won that first match, but yet she chose to loose it and double it. And give Ayana a slither of hope before crushing it

She's quite persuasive and Sadistic. And gambling brings out all of those qualities in her. and you would never guess it based on how emotionless she seems at times.

But I wonder if she Acts emotionless to cover up how soft she is, or if she truly dosent give a fuck?

But either way I still love h-

Who the fuck is interrupting me?

Of course it's Sayaka. I swear she is starting to get too comfortable with me. I just don't understand why she won't leave me the hell alone. I mean she must think I love her. Buts it's so clear that I don't, and she's ignoring all the red flags too.

She's so hell bent on trying to make me love her. But I will never settle for someone like her. And it's time she learn that. But for one last time I'll humor her.

"What is it Sayaka?"

"Why must we watch her gamble if we know she is just like Yumeko it's just a waste of our time."

"Sayaka leave then. I'm so sick and tired of your complaining. So go in the council room and wait for me."

She sadly walks away so now I finally can enjoy this gamble.

(Maya POV)

Ayako looks at me like I'm insane. But I am, so I won't get mad about that, but she still hasn't given me a response. So I give her an expectant look.
And I can't help laugh at her.

"Did you really think I would sit here and let you make a house pet out of me?"

"I-I-It was just a little trick I play on the young-younger kids here"

"No it was a tool to help preserve that fragile little ego of yours and you know it. You can't stand losing so you rig things to win. And In my opinion that makes a bigger loser than just losing normally."

"SHUT UP MAYA, I'll gamble with you just so you can see that I can win without chea-"

The doors to the room open. And it's none other than Yumeko.

I got flashbacks from when we hung out at her house and the way we kissed each other. And I felt myself about to smile.

"Maya why didn't you tell me that you were gambling, I feel so left out."

"Sorry Yumeko I just felt like gambling."

"As Long as i get to watch the rest of the gamble."

"Fine with me."

Ayako starts to shuffle the NEW deck of cards. And I watch her as Yumeko pulls up a seat right behind me. I look back and realize that Ryota was nowhere to be found but who gives a shit.

I look back and Ayako starts dealing the NEW deck and it looks completely different from hers so I would know if she tries to sneak more cards in the deck.

And so it begins...

She pulls a card
I pull a card
She pulls a card
I pull a card
She pulls the joker
I laugh in her face
And she looks shocked

And I carelessly pull from her hand
While she gets more pissed every time I don't pull
the joker
And I keep laughing in her face.
And eventually I'm down to one card and she's down to 2.

"You better pick carefully Maya one wrong move and it's all over."

"Well it's a good thing I'm never wrong about bitches like you Ayako"

And with that I pick the card that's not the joker. I would have made things build up but there was already too much tension in the room. And class starts in 13 minutes anyway.

The room goes wild and Yumeko jumps up and hugs me tightly and kisses my forehead. And I notice out of the corner of my eye that Kirari is walking away with a big grin on her face.

And as for Ayako she is now in debt to me and is a house pet. She screams in anger and is crying.

"Ayako I want my money by the end of the year since I know it will take a bitch like you a long while."

"You'll never get my money"

"Then you can get a life plan and pay me back."

And I grab Yumeko by the arm and take her to our lockers before Ayako had the chance to respond. I'm not about to argue with that bitch anymore.

Yumeko kisses me on the cheek and tells me
How proud she is. And I blush in response.

She giggles and takes the long way to math class with me so she can talk to me.

"Maya you did so well out there, I'm so obsessed with watching you gamble."

"Thanks Yumeko, it was nice to have you there watching me."

" I'm glad you feel that way, but I must say..."

"Say what?"

"I didn't know you were so impatient with exposing people."

Something about her voice changed, and when she said that it made me feel shy, or sheepish. But I like when she talks like that.

"W-what do you mean."

"Don't get shy on me now maya, you certainly weren't shy when you got sadistic on Ayako just then, I loved seeing that side of you."

Again with the sexy tone of voice.

She looks at me waiting for an answer,her eyes turning red. But just then...

A pair of familiar blue eyes walks up next to me.

"Hi Yumeko I see your already talking to out latest champion. But I'll need Maya right now."

And without a chance for Yumeko to respond Kirari walks away grabbing my wrist and expecting me to follow.

And as soon as we get to the council room she pins me against the wall and smirks while looking down on me....
