Chapter 2

Sonic yawned and woke up. Seeing his brothers asleep he quietly left the cave and headed into town to do his daily watch.

He saw Donut lord in his car with a speed meter and smirked deciding he'd have a little fun before going back. He got in position and ran. When he finished he went back and hid behind the car to see his speed.

Not fast enough.

He ran back to the starting point and got in position and ran. Then he ran back and checked again. '300?! Go me' he thought excitedly before running back. Saving a turtle and having a little fun with it before actually heading back.

Silver and Shadow didn't know about sonic's daily watches because he knew that if they knew then they'd freak so he tried his hardest not to make it suspicious or obvious. He'd always felt a connection to the town especially towards two people.

Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady.

He loved Silver and Shadow a lot but it was so fascinating to watch how Donut lord and pretzel lady went on with their days.

Today was Yoga day. He spent the last couple hours with Pretzel lady. he had decided to call her that because she was strangely born without bones. Before he ran home he stared longingly at her. He desperately wished he didn't have to hide.

Hopefully someday he and his brothers could live a normal life without hiding.

He sighed before running back to the cave where he ran into Shadow. The hedgehog crossed his arms. "Where were you?"

"Just went out for a morning run! Like always Shads!"

Shadow visibly deflated and smiled slightly. Ever since he had came to earth with Silver and Sonic he had stopped being so harsh and started showing his love and affection more. Seeing that his brothers needed it.

"Just make sure you're not seen. We don't need to have to relocate. Again."

Sonic sighed remembering what had happened the first time. They had to leave their cave because a human spotted Sonic they eventually found a cave under a tree trunk and it worked out.

When someone that Sonic and Silver had deemed 'Crazy Carl' had found Sonic when he was on one of his actual morning runs, Crazy Carl had started setting up traps for him and calling him the Blue Devil. A specific time came to mind.

Sonic and Silver were running around setting off the traps. Well speeding in Sonic's case, He was being reckless while Silver was hiding behind a tree trunk using his telekinesis. Crazy Carl came running out when he was caught by one of his own traps.

"I know you're out there!! And i know you're real!!!"

Silver covered up his snickers as Sonic ran and hid next to him and yelled out "No i'm not!!"

When Crazy Carl was gone they both burst out laughing. Running home and telling the story to Shadow, who was angry at first but then admitted it was pretty funny.

Sonic smiled at the memory "Don't worry shads i'll be careful."

Shadow nodded. "Well Silver was wanting to start a game of ping pong."

Sonic broke out into smile. "So i can beat him again?? Yessss."

"Hey!! I heard that you porcupine!!" Silver yelled from inside the cave.

If possible Sonics grin got even wider and he dashed inside. Shadow just shook his head and followed.

The next couple hours consisted of Sonic and Silver going back and forth.
