I kid you not my TOE got stuck in a tap last night A TAP. At some point I considered chopping off the damn thing.

{Rui POV}

"Amazing! I found a decent sized demon I can easily kill!" I turned away from the boy to see an immature demon slayer emerging from the wood.

How annoying.

"I'll just chop off your head then go back down the mountain!" He exclaimed stupidly, I narrowed my eyes and sent my webs to slash him into pieces.

A gasp was heard from my side as I turned back to him.

His two toned eyes were wide and fear ridden, hands trembling as he tried to steady his grip upon his sword.

"What's your name?" I asked him, playing with the webs in between my fingers.

"Tanjiro Kamado!" He yelled, pointing his sword towards me. How cute.

"I've got an offer for you Tanjiro" I spoke, walking closer to him, making him step back in fear as I smiled softly.

"I have no intention in making offers with demons" he hissed, slitted eyes glowing brightly. They stood out beautifully amongst the snow covered surroundings, so vivid and pure that they were enchanting

"Aren't you a demon?" I pointed towards his eyes then mouth, he instantly froze and I could see the look or regret sweep across his face.

"I'm no demon like you!" was all he said before lunging towards me, unleashing an attack I easily deflected with a string of webs; slicing his sword in half.

So pathetic it's almost adorable.

{third person POV}
"Will you listen to my deal now?" Rui asked, staring at the horrified demon slayer with his broken sword.

Tanjiro said nothing and simply looked fearfully towards Rui, his mind desperately running wild with how he could defeat him. His hands began to shiver in the cold, snow falling from the dull sky once more.

Rui watched peacefully as Tanjiro kneeled in the ever growing snow, graceful flakes of frost carefully seating themselves on the strands of his dark hair, coating his skin in a thin layer of dampness as his chubby cheeks became red from the cold.

He looked so very euphoric.

Even the simplicity of Tanjiro's beauty made Rui's need for love ache.

He simply had to have him.

Some would see Rui to be bewitched; but he called it love. His own twisted love that is. For there is an emptiness in the freedoms of being alone and the liberty of being caught in the divine spell.

He was stuck in his own cursed loop. The obsessive need for a family and his own special person was so intense he could feel himself growing more agitated the longer Tanjiro sat there unwilling.

The way the snow caressed his pale skin, how his warm clothes hugged his exhausted body, the way in which the dull trees casted its dim shadows upon his perfect face.

Rui wanted to be the one to do these things.

Many would feel sorrow for the spider boy, but then again. Others felt no remorse for him. His tragic past proving the cause of his actions when being a demon.

He was almost in a grey area. So stuck in this loop it physically pained him, to have to carry on.

The classic description for love would be something along the lines of; Love is sweet, yet more as fresh fruit than candy or confectionary. Love is colourful, yet more as summer blooms than the neon lights of frenetic city streets. Love is steady and forgiving, yet more as the wise mother than the servant in chains.
