When the group left Oswald and Tristen at the church, Piney decided to head back to the clubhouse to deliver the news there and to manage the Nomads and Niners as they got ready for the alliance meeting which was now going to be turned into a homecoming party as well. Pixie was elated at the results of the meeting which Gemma was pleased to see, though it did mean she had to drive back to Charming with Pixie belting out rock songs and jumping around in her seat, needing to get out all the emotions and energy she'd built up. Gemma joined in for a few of the songs that she knew, though she wished she had a free hand to get a camera so she could show Chibs and Tig Pixie's enthusiastic display, knowing it would bring both men into high spirits, and they needed that right now.

They reached Gemma's house with Rane, Opie and Lowell in tow and Gemma unlocked the door first, causing Lyla, Kip, Luann, and Charlie to jump up from the sofa in anticipation. Pixie had composed herself and her face was downcast. The men remained silent and looked as equally stoic and stressed, causing the others to look at them with hesitation and worry, trying to figure out if the meeting had gone well or not.

"Where're the kids?" Gemma questioned immediately when she couldn't see them or Abel in the main room, her momma bear instincts coming into play.

"Bulldog has them in the back yard, the boys wanted to join in boxing classes with Ellie." Lyla answered quickly, tucking blonde curls behind her ear nervously. "Abe's down for a nap, he was getting cranky and threw a fit over Kip stopping him from chewing the TV remote." She added with a small smile over her baby boy's antics.

Gemma relaxed upon hearing the explanations and moved off to go to the back door which had been left ajar so she could watch the kids and Hughie bounce around the back yard with Bulldog. He had training mitts on and was alternating between the boys and Ellie as to who was going to hit the mitts. Gemma could see Ellie was in full big sister mode, making sure her three brothers weren't hurting themselves and correcting their stances and how they threw their babyish punches, letting out happy squeals and silly noises, happy to be playing with her and Bulldog.

"So how did it go?!" Charlie questioned, putting her hands on her hips as she observed the Sons. Pixie bit her lip, eyes shining slightly, and she ran a hand over her hair. Opie crossed his arms and looked over Charlie's head whilst Rane and Lowell both averted their gazes to their boots, giving nothing away.

"Well..." Pixie sniffled, her voice wavering ever so slightly. Luann's eyes widened and she put a hand on Kip's forearm anxiously, looking to him for answers and support. Kip and Charlie gazed at each other as Lyla's blue eyes went wide, trying to figure out if something had happened.

Charlie's eyes narrowed as she noted Lowell now had his knuckles pressed against his lips, as though hiding a smirk. She reassessed Pixie's body language, knowing her best friend too well, and although she couldn't properly see Pixie's face as Pixie had ducked her head, she caught the way her fingers were drumming against her thighs. This was something Pixie did when she was excited but was trying to stay calm. "I swear to god if you guys are kiddin' us." Kip warned, also picking up on these subtle little nuances.

Pixie tipped her head up slowly, her eyes glittering as her signature mischievous smile spread across her lips. "Yeah, we're just messin', the guys are coming home." She announced with a happy jump. Lyla let out a high pitched squeal of joy causing Rane to put a hand up to his ear, obviously not used to the sound whilst the others celebrated too, the relief hitting the family like a tidal wave as they hugged each other and allowed themselves to embrace the moment of joy after spending so long feeling stressed and worn out. Charlie swiftly grabbed a throw pillow when Pixie was distracted by Luann long enough for her to bring it down across the back of Pixie's head and shoulders.
