Hello to all my Lovely and Grumpy but beautiful Readers!!

My full on Sharpe Au book is about to begin, hehe.

This chapter will NOT be a real chapter, it's just notes and warnings before I get carried away with the book.

Also, thank you all for waiting as patiently as you have and I hope you'll end up enjoying this book as much as you did the Oneshots.

Notes/Warnings!

1} This is set in the early 1800s, during the early years of the napoleon wars. Meaning, form of language, behaviour and discrimination was a type of normal and almost allowed in some sense.

(I'm not here to insult anyone or upset, I'm just warning you now that things won't be as peachy as they are now, this is a different timeframe our characters will be living in)

2} Curse words will also be rather different then they are now. They didn't have as many curse words as we use nowadays and the insults they used would be rather cruel, mean or playful to the men during this timeline.

3} Children from twelve and upwards would be used in war as well during these times. While some soldiers did frown on it, desperate times called for desperate matters.

4} Most that held ranked bought their rank without ever earning it. The poor was left as soldiers who's only job was to follow orders while the rich got rank and showered will all the glory.

5} Gypsy's will be in this book because they were around during this war a lot, traveling around even while battles raged on close by. Now, Gypsy's were either liked or disliked, never in between meaning they were either accepted or hated. I also must make it CLEAR that a gypsy is NOT skin based. I've learnt that other's have assumed that in the past but I must correct you and tell you now, that they were all skin colours and races. Never just one, please don't think anything racism .. it's just the truth.

6} This is based on Napoleonic war times and it's based on the British sides of the war. Meaning there will be a few insults or nicknamed aimed at both the French and Spanish. For any of you who are French or Spanish, please don't not feel targeted it. It's just the theme of the book.

7} Sharpe is based on fictional books, I'm using the tv episodes over it but the story is based on the real war and the real life of chosen men. So, some things may be false but some will always be true over such times.

8} The wedding age for women was between the early twenties and mid twenties. Please remember that women didn't have as much rights or freedom as men did but they weren't completely useless either. In fact, some of the women did gain respect in some ways without having to use their bodies for those who may think rudely. I must warn you over Rape, abuse and foul treatment towards women since they were still only seen as objects for men to have. The women may have dignity and be able to speak honourably but they were still the underdogs to men. (If that makes sense?)
