Ameli's PoV

"- And then we will have to strengthen the border patrol, would you mind a few of your warriors helping out with that?" Alpha Julian smiles and nods.
"Of course. I'm not the kind of person to invade on someone hospitality and not repay them of sorts." He gestures to a group of men standing in the corner. They all have a strong build, but are lean, like panthers. They seem about as tame as panthers as well. They all had mussed up hair and bad-boy attitudes to go with.
I turn to thank him, but instead am faced by a crazy-looking ginger teenager with glasses and Amber eyes. Next to her stands a boy, doubled over and grimacing as she twists his arm back.
"Aye 'Mils. How you doing?"
Yup.
Crazy kid is my sister.
Being crazy kinda runs in the family.
I smile in amusement. Juliette never fails to surprise me.
Wait.
Amber eyes?
This kid must have really annoyed her a lot. Unfortunately, having short tempers also runs in the family, but she was the one out of the six (me, her older brother who moved in with his mate in Wales, our parents and the traitor) of us that wouldn't usually let her wolf, Cinder, take over.
"Hey kid. What's your name?" He raises his head and winces as he speaks.
"Ollie."
"Well Ollie, congratulations on annoying my sister. Usually me and her brother can't can't anger her to this point." Ollie eyes me doubtfully, struggling to get out of Juliette's grasp. "I gotta ask, how did you do it?"
"He said Thalia was weak." I snap my eyes back up to hers and grin. Thalia's one of Ettie's best friends, and if there's one thing me and Ettie agree on, it's nobody insults our friends.
I straighten up my back and look between the teens. "I have one thing to say to you," I point at Juliette. "And two things for you." The kid gulps.
"Juliette. I need for you to remember that murder is illegal and you and me both, have to learn not to let people get to us this easily. And you" I look the boy in the eyes. "Number one. If you haven't gathered this yet, this is my sister. Angering her was a really bad idea, because now I can guarantee that she will whip your tushie in training. Two." I make my expression very serious, just to see him pale and gulp, but then I let through a friendly smile. "Welcome to the castle"
Ripping Juliettes arm off the guys twisted forearm, I smile and guide her away.
Who am I kidding? I hold her in a death grip and wait for the boy to scamper off.
I'm telling you, she's more eager to kill me than the damn Werewolf Council.
....It's a really long story.

After dealing with housing the newcomers, I called everyone to training. Our pack land stretched for miles across the brown and purple Scottish mountains, only ending with the sea. It snaked around villages and cities, so no humans would stray into the packland. There was a block of buildings and a training field where everyone was gathered. Stepping up onto the front steps of the building, I let my voice ring out over the grounds.
"Everyone from the age of fifteen will have one hour and a half of training a day, and from twelve, there will be forty-five minutes for each person. Anyone who is a Fighter will assemble on the far corner of the field." Gesturing towards the North corner, I them move my hand across to the east. "Anyone who wants to be a fighter and is over the age of seventeen, with permission of guardians, will report to the east corner." I drop my arm as the huge crowd mill around and go to their stations. Alpha Julian grins and walks over to me with two men beside him.
The man on his left is lean and tall, but lithe, like an athlete. He has kind features, with milk chocolate skin and kindly brown eyes. Julian's right hand man towers over the pair of them, his hair falling over his menacing features. He introduces himself as Radley. Nodding to the man on his left, he introduces him as Theo, his Third in Command.
"So your name is Theo the Third?" I ask him, a huge smile stretching over my face. He drops his head and pinches his nose. Sighing, he looks at me disbelievingly.
Imitating my voice, he says, "And you're Alpha Ameli?" He uses the same tone and tilts his head, like I do when I ask a question. Julian eyes Theo sharply, as if he was giving him a warning, like not to anger me or something. I grin evilly.
"Well Theo, I feel like you will be a fitting accomplice to help me carry out mischief." He returns my evil grin, and nods.
"Of course, Alpha."
"Please call me Ameli. I don't usually stand on authorities, this shouldn't be an exception." He bows his head and smiles devilishly. Out of the corner of my eye, I can see Luke beckoning me frantically. I quickly shake hands with Julian and Theo again, and give Radley a suspicious once over. "I'm sorry, but I am needed elsewhere."
Without looking back, I jog over to Luke and look at him, the question clear in my eyes. I roll my eyes at his expression. He always gets himself in trouble. Once he accidentally dyed Ann's hair orange and "accidentally" exploded a can of whipped cream in the living quarters, which resulted in a very annoyed Juliette covered in cream, chasing a wild Luke, who also happened to be covered in cream. Good times.
"I-I may or may not have let Thalia in the ring with that new kid." He says. I look at him dully. Ollie did call Thalia weak, but she has a way of holding grudges. I feel worry for him spark in my gut. She's skinny, but quick and deceptively strong. Even if he hadn't let her in the ring with Ollie, she would have found a way to get back at him anyway. I step around him to see the action.
The thirteen year old is sat on him, throwing punches to his face and chest while he guards his neck so she cannot force him to submit. Flipping them over, Ollie twists her arm back and Juliette's watching glance, normally grey, is tainted with amber as the black haired girl in the ring winces and grits her teeth, Juliette's protective instincts kick in. Using her legs, Thalia manages to wriggle her feet and the front of her calf under his frame. Chucking him off, she spins around and deftly presses her forearm against his windpipe. I chuckle, and mind link Juliette.
"Looks like Thals over there did the royal beating up."
"Dammit." She whines in my mind "It was my turn in the ring as well"
