Oh. My. Moon goddess.
"They're here" Ann spoke through the pack mind link.
Crap. I looked over at the clock on my wall then back to my vanity. It would take me at least five minutes to get fully ready, and the new pack were even a few minutes late.
"Okay. Remember what I said and if you get mad just look away and think about him drowning in custard and porridge" I could hear her chuckling through link.

I gripped the steering wheel and grinded my teeth together. The kids in the back were driving me crazy as I tried to navigate the small, windy roads and tried to avoid getting stuck In in a herd of sheep again, tapping my fingers impatiently on my knees as I wait for the green light. We've been here for a week at least, working our way up from the south and stopping at several locations for meetings and checks for the Rogues behind us. It had been constantly raining. Is it never sunny on this miserable island?
(A/N this is the character thinking, ps I can say that bc I live on this small miserable island 😂😂)
Turning on my indicator, I watch the silver Nissan that is leading me pull into a driveway to a... Castle? It had four main towers and was made of a dark grey, roughly hewn stone, covered in ivy. I feel like I should be looking around for the Loch Ness monster! Seriously, this thing belonged in a fairy tale. Our dumb Alpha had said that it was large, but this place was colossal! I would need a map to find my way around for a while.
The cars slow to a stop as we see a huge flow of people rush out of the castle. No wonder it's so big. Their pack must be near 200 wolves strong, plus pups and unshifted wolves. That is quite a few. If I succeed, we will have a pack of 300, and together we will conquer the world. And hopefully find our mates. But I would prefer willing she-wolves than to find my mate right away...
As our Alpha closes the door to the leading car, our pack spills out of the odd vehicles that we've had to drive for hours in.
"Come on then pups" I look at them through the rear-view mirror. "Let's go meet this new pack, aight?"
They share a glance. The boy in the middle, who seems to be the most confident out of the four of them speaks up.
"They look scary, Beta. Why can't we stay in the car?"
I sigh and roll my eyes. If I ever have children, I hope to the moon goddess that they aren't this stupid.
