"I do get the point! It is a very good point!" I take a deep, shuddering breath. "But calling the Werewolf Council here, of all places, would simply result in four or five deaths of fairly important wolves or me!"

At this very moment in time, my pack and Julians are attempting to persuade me into calling the werewolf council here for advice with the Rogue problem. It's only aggravating the slightly insane and wholly crazy wolf inside my head.

'Really? You wanna do this now? In the middle of a crisis?'

'Shut it, crazy lady. I'm actually trying to listen to these uncultured peasants after all.' I try to tune out the weirdo in my head as I continue to argue with Ann, Mike, Julian

'I can see inside your head, I can tell when you're lying.'

'I'M NOT LYING NOW SHUT IT'

'Well damn' Luza places a paw on her chest and leans back 'if you want me gone that much I'll go, Jeezus.'

Leaving Luza to sulk, I continue my ah, "civilised debate" with the group.

Theo sighs, tired of my stubbornness. "Listen Ameli, if you don't call the council, Julian will."

Slowly clapping as a grin spreads over my face, I let the stress on my shoulders fade and let out a sigh of relief. "Yes please."

Julian does a double take "Really?"

I wave my hand in dismissal "Sure, sure. Tell them from me not to be late." Turning to grin at my friends, I nod.

"Now that's over, I really need to let Luza out. You know how crazy she makes me."

'That's just you honey.'

--------------------------------------

"I'm not sure if I can stay here, Ames. All of this cockiness and testosterone in one room may make me explode" Ann whispers into my ear. Julian shoots her an annoyed look and rolls his eyes.

Sighing and mirroring Julian, I hastily change the subject as my Beta opens her mouth again. "Are all of them here?"

"Yes."

"Well then" I walk towards the head of the table and hit my closed fist on it, creating a loud, muffled thump. The few alphas that had come to the meeting when I was there walked to the table.

A few of my friends from different packs crowd around me and greet me, but my eyes are focused on the gaggle of other men, including the new head of the council, as they stay around the map of the world I have on the opposite side of the room. A flash of annoyance makes my eyes bright silver and I reach down to my boots. Inside, there are four silver throwing knives, two in each shoe. Swiftly drawing it back, I aim to nick the ear of the head of the council. With a whoosh, the knife travels through the air and hits its target.

The Leaders eyes flash yellow and he stalks slowly up the room, anger evident in his eyes. Apprehension and adrenaline build up inside me and once his height is towering over me and he's giving me a sickly sweet smile, I slowly start to back away from him. My back hitting the wall, the man starts to tut and shake his head.

"Little girl, do you know who I am?"

I look him dead in the eyes, giving him my 'really?' look. "I'm not sure we've ever been introduced, but you must be the new leader of the council." the old leader did harbour some respect for me and gave me freedom to run my pack as i wished: i feel as if this new wannabe will run things slightly differently. I stick out my hand "Nice to meet you....?"

"That's Alpha Davies to you, Girlie." He sneers, power rolling off him.

Slapping my hand back down to my thigh, I chuckle lightly. "I think you'll find it's Alpha to you as well sir."

A quick look of confusion passes over the Leader's chiseled features, then he takes his turn to laugh "Nice one. Now please go and get Alpha Drawstein-we've waited long enough for this damn meeting to start."

I nod eagerly then make as if I'm going to walk out of the room, then point towards me and quickly spin around again. "Nah, we're good, I'm already here."

He gives me a scornful look and rolls his eyes, stepping yet even closer to me. "I'm done joking around. Where. is. Alpha. Drawstein?"

(Now, readers, you need to understand that at this point, I am probably getting quite frustrated. Yes. I am. That, and combined with the fact that I genuinely don't want to be here was just pissing me off to be frank. Do not try what I'm about to do next at home. Or with annoying humans just generally. I'm sorry.)

Closing the fingers on my right hand around his throat and pushing my left hand against his chest, I send him flying across the room. I will my eyes to glow silver -for added effect-  and cross my arms over my chest while I walk back to the table, seeing Julian, Ann, Mike, Theo and Nat all facepalming simultaneously. (#squadgoals)

"You legit haven't even started the meeting and you've already managed to injure someone. You totally enjoy inflicting pain." Ann mind links me.

"Hell yes." I wink at her from the head of the table. "Love it."

This chapter is kind of a filler just so i have an excuse to update and hopefully I'll be able to get the next chapter up by the end of the week. I love you guys, remember to vote, follow and comment :)
