The Grindelwalds 1

The Start Part 1

It has been 11 years since the evil wizard, Gellert Grindelwald died. The year is now 2011. Tomorrow will be the triplets 11th birthday. Sarah decided to put the children to bed a little earlier than normal so she could set up the house for the birthday party the next day. Sarah has always found celebrations and birthday parties difficult since her husband died. Especially seen as Grindelwald died on the triplets 3 month birthday.

Sarah tiptoed out of the triplets bed room and walked carefully and quietly down the stairs so she could set up the  house for the party. Sarah had already made a cake for the children so all she had to do now was ice it. Sarah decided to split the cake into 3 layers for each child. Sarah iced the top cake in red icing as it is Benji's favourite colour, the 2nd layer green as it is Luzia's favourite colour and the bottom layer purple as it is Penelope's favourite colour. After Sarah did that she then putt he take into the fridge to set over night.

After Sarah did that she decided to blow up some balloons. The balloons were also coloured to represent each child's favourite colour. After half an hour Sarah finally blew up all of the different coloured balloons and scattered them all around the ground floor of the house. 

After she did that Sarah put up a 3 banners across a wall in the dining room. One of the banners said 'Birthday boy!' And the other two banners said 'Birthday girl!'  on them.

After Sarah did this she then went upstirs and checked that the triplets were still asleep, which they were. Sarah then went into her bed room and finished wrapping her children's presents. She then went to sleep.

As soon as the sun had rose. Benji and Penelope were awake and running around the upstairs of the house. Sarah heard this but ignored them until they came running in.

"Mummy!" Shouted Penelope as she came running in. "It's our birthday."

"Yes I know." Sarah said with eyes closed.

"Wake up!" Benji added.

"Why?"

"Cause it's our birthday!" Both children said.

"Where is Luzia?"

The 2 children looked at each other and said, "Still in bed."

"So if she is still in bed then why aren't you?"

"But...she's an idiot, we ignore her most of the time. I like to pretend she is invisible when I see her at school cause of how embarrassing she is." Said Penelope.

Sarah sat up in bed and opened her eyes. "Maybe you should all go back to your room, get dressed and come down in 30 minutes time."

"Why?" Asked Benji.

"Cause I need time to get myself dressed and make you birthday pancakes."

Both of the kids faces lit up with the excitement of birthday pancakes and ran out of the room and into their own.

Sarah stayed sat in her bed for a couple minutes longer thinking about things. She thought about her other children, Richard and Gellert. Although she didn't really remember Richard as Grindelwald had Obliterated her to forget him, she still felt sad that he was dead. She missed Gellert cause this made her realise that he'd be 11 years older than he was when he died. He'd be in his 20s now. A single tear fell down her face but she quickly wiped it away. She also thought about her husband Grindelwald, she was still wearing her wedding and engagement ring. She looked down at her hand and twisted her rings round her ring finger on her left hand. She thought back to how much she missed him and how she will always wish he said goodbye to her, or even to the children. Sarah also thought she was very lucky that Luzia was not affected by it, after all she was the child that Delphini picked to try and curse.
