The whole class looked at the teacher. Michelle was the first student to speak.
"Hello Professor Villarreal, My name is Michelle Porter."
"Hello Miss Porter."
Professor Villarreal was their new potions teacher. He had floppy brown hair, brown eyes and a brown beard. He was dressed in a suit but without a tie.

He spoke in a very monotone voice as if he was board of the lesson already.
"I am sure that you are perfectly aware that this is your first potions class..." He paused a moment to watch the students. "I hope you will all take this lesson 100% seriously because if not, leave now rather than later."
The class looked at each other but no one left.
"Now, I hope you all have your potion books, Magical Drafts and Potions?"
The students got the book out of their bags and put them onto the table. Professor Villarreal wrote on the blackboard some page numbers for the class to read through.
"Please real pages 5, 8 and 64. We will be covering basic potions today."
He walked over to his desk and started taking notes.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the class room door. It was Matty and someone else from Ravenclaw.
"Excuse me Professor, can I borrow Benji Grindelwald?"
"Why?" Asked the teacher.
"Me and Donovan need to speak to him-"
"Donovan who? Kelps?"
"Yes, sir." Said Donovan.
"Hmm, fine."
Benji got his backpack and grabbed his book and left with the boys.
"Benji, I'll expect you to come back at lunch time to make up for this lesson missed."
"Yes professor." Benji said before leaving.
Donovan took Matty and Benji down into the Ravenclaw common room to talk to them.
"You 2 must be wondering why I brought you here"
"Yes."
"Well Matty, as you know, I'll be leaving at the end of this year as I'll be 18 so I want you to take over as captain of Ravenclaw when I leave."
"Wow thank you Don"
"And I want you to practis being captain for now so you get used to it. For the next 3 games you'll be in charge."
"Thank you."
"And Benji. I want to give you a chance, Since being back at school Matty hasn't gone a second not talking about you being curious about Quidditch, I know you're only a first year but I want you to come and watch us train tonight so you can learn the ropes."
