It was time for Oris, the house elf's funeral. Luzia arrived home pretty quickly and it seemed like Sarah was yet to notice she had gone or returned.
"Mum, are Benji and Penelope here yet?" She shouted into the living room.
"They will be here any minute, get dressed."
"I already am dressed."
Sarah looked at what Luzia was wearing. "You need to be wearing black, Luzia."
"Oh." Luzia was wearing pretty much the same clothes as she wore to her Potion lesson with professor Villarreal on Saturday. "I guess I'll just get changed then."
She walked up the stairs and into her bedroom. She opened her wardrobe and tried her best to find some more appropriate clothing for Oris' funeral. She never really had smart clothes, she only had old school uniform from when she was in primary school and some spare trousers that she'd wear at Hogwarts. She didn't have a black dress or anything resembling a suit. She made the best with what she had and decided to dress herself in some of her spare school trousers and shoes, she put a white shirt on and a black hoodie jacket. She went to the bathroom and brushed her long brown hair. Luzia was never very fond of her long brown hair, she wanted white hair like her dad and Benji had.
She stared at herself in the bathroom mirror which was above the sink. She wished she looked more like her dad. Benji had her father's blonde hair and different coloured eyes. Penelope had a pair of white eyes and brown hair and Luzia looked exactly like her mum, brown hair and brown eyes. It was all very odd, Luzia was (in some ways) the most like her dad but yet looked the most unlike him, She wondered if that ever meant anything.
Luzia kept staring at herself. She only stopped when her mum shouted her from downstairs.
"Luzia, the others are here now."
"Ok." She said in a her normal voice, not shouting at all.
"Luzia?" The voice got closer.
Her mum, Sarah walked through the door. "What are you doing up here?"
"Just thinking..."
"About Oris?"
"N-no, dad."
Sarah came in the put her arms around her daughter. "That's normal, I still think about him too. Why are you thinking about exactly?"
"Why do I look nothing like him? I have your hair and eye colour, Penelope and Benji both look like him. Surely, I should as well. I'm the one who got kicked out of Hogwarts just like he got kicked out of Durmstrang..."
"Some times genetics are strange."
"But I'm the most like him, it isn't fair."
"What makes you think you are the most like him, though? Getting told off by teachers a lot is normal."
"But out of me and my siblings, I'm the bad one, the weird one, the outcast one. Wasn't he like that?"
"I guess so..."
"So how do I act like him but look nothing like him?"
"I don't know, Luzia."
"But you must have thought at least one of us would behave like him."
"You're all like him..."
"Lies, I am the bad one, the one that hurt people- like he did."
"I know, but-"
"Mum? Who killed dad?"
Sarah said nothing, she just stared at her and Luzia's reflection in the mirror.
