The Grindelwalds 1

Part 15

Today was Saturday the 1st of January. It was the day that the children went back to Hogwarts after the Christmas Holidays. It was early in the morning and only Sarah and Mildred were awake. Sarah was ironing the children's school uniforms and making them breakfast. About an hour later the children woke up.

"Hi mum." Said Benji as he came downstairs.

"Hey Benji, are the others coming?"

"Yeah, Penelope is in the bathroom and I think Luzia is getting dressed."

Shortly later, both girls came downstairs.

All 3 children ate their breakfast and finished packing their trunks with their clean and fresh uniform.

"Hurry up and finish packing, We need to set off in 10 minutes." Said Sarah.

All the children went upstairs and sorted out their trunks.

Sarah said goodbye to Mildred and she checked on Oris.

"Bye Mildred." She said.

"Bye Sarah, say bye to the children for me."

"I will, how is Oris today?"

Sarah walked into Mildred and Oris's bedroom and checked on him. 

Oris still looked poorly. He was sweaty but felt really cold.

"Basically no improvement, Sarah."

"Hopefully nothing bad happens while I'm away."

"He'll be fine, It will only take you a few hours to get to Kings Cross and back, won't it?"

"Yeah, but I don't want Oris to decline in health while I'm away."

"I'll make sure he'll be ok." Said Mildred reassuringly.

Sarah left the little bedroom and shouted the kids downstairs.

"Hurry up, it's almost time to leave!" Sarah shouted up the stairs.

Benji came down first, then Luzia then Penelope. Each of them brought their trunks, bags and pets down with them. Sarah then lead them out into the drive way and allowed them to put their trunks and pet cages into the boot. Once they did that it was time to go.

"Before we go, say goodbye to Mildred and Oris." Sarah insisted.

Each child went inside the little bedroom near the kitchen and said goodbye to Mildred and Oris and then they left.

After hours of driving, they got to  Kings Cross Station. Each child got a trolley and piled it up with their trunks, bags and cages. They then rolled the trolleys inside of the train station and onto Platform 9 & 3/4.

"Mum, you don't need to come onto the platform with us, we can do it alone." insisted Penelope.

"Are you sure?" Asked Sarah.

"Yes."

"Ok then, goodbye then." 

Sarah kissed each of the children on the cheek and watched them all go through the wall and onto Platform 9 & 3/4. She waved at them as each of them left and then she left the station.

When Benji got onto Platform 9 & 3/4, he saw Matty. Matty was alone and Liberty was nowhere to be seen. He wanted to give Matty the silent treatment but he didn't want to cause a bigger rift in their friendship any longer. He decided to walk over to Matty and try and start a conversation.
