Paris' pov
I woke up to find London and Liam gone. I looked around to double check and found a note.
Love,
I got called into work today. Hang out at the house please. You don't have to start the yard work without me. I love you
Liam
I smiled as I could imagine him saying this. Then I thought about work. Starbucks has yet to call me back. I sighed as I thought what to do. For now I just sat down to think. I thought how almost three weeks ago, I was on the streets with London. Then suddenly, I have somewhere to call home and then a boyfriend. Then London calls me mommy now. I thought about my mom. When she was alive she was my favorite person. I miss her so much. Tears started streaming down my face as I thought of memories. Like this one time when I was eight, London wasn't born yet, I went into the freezer to get some ice cream. I only wanted a small sample but then I ended up eating all three jugs and I was all hyper from a sugar high. My mom came in and tried to act mad, but she couldn't even keep a straight face. I smiled through the tears and continued crying. I thought of any memory at all, good or bad. Even the ones where Kendrick would beat me and how my mom never noticed. I heard foot steps approaching, so I stood up, trying to wipe away the tears. Liam came around the corner and looked shocked.
Liam's pov
I walked into the house after the pack meeting about the rouges. I immediately heard soft sobs coming from the kitchen. I was surprised to see her standing there wiping at her face furiously trying to get rid of the remainder of tears. Not wanting to cry in front of me. I walked to her and picked her up. Her arms went around my neck and her legs around my waist. I dampened a rag and wiped her eyes gently. She smiled, leaning her face into my hand. I rubbed her cheek gently and kissed her lips lightly. After a moment I pulled away and said,"Lets go get some yard work done.
We were outside working our butts off. Then I saw Paris looking down into the sand before shouting for me to come over there. So I sat the limbs I was holding and jogged over to her. "What is it beautiful?" She pointed to a werewolf print and said,"You have some big wolves around here." I nodded like it was normal. She just shook it off and got back to work with pulling weeds. We had a quick snack and then headed over to my mom's house. London wasn't due for another half hour, so we were going to just hang out over here. We took a break from cleaning the yard, so we had cleaned up. Paris seemed a little off but I didn't mention it.
