The Wembley Arena

Emma's POV

We entered the bus waiting for us at the Bus Stop. The bus contained all the X Factor contestants. I took a seat beside Cher Lloyd.

"Hi, I'm Cher, you're Emma, right?" She asked me. I smiled.

"Yeah, nice to meet you!" I greeted politely.

"Are you excited for the bootcamp?" She asked.

"To be honest, I'm very nervous." I answered. "You seem pretty excited about it." I told her. She smiled and nodded.

"It's because I'm going back home!" She chuckled, "I'm from London, actually."

"Oh, that's cool! Lucky for you! I'm leaving home." I shrugged. She frowned.

"No worries, bestie. I'm there with you!" She said, making me smile. She's really nice.

"Emma are you - oh, I thought you would sit with us." Harry said, looking at me with puppy eyes. I rolled my eyes at him.

"You - ouch - can sit - ugh - here, if you wanna sit with me." I said, moving some of my hang luggage and making space for him. He jumped right next to me, making my water bottle bounce on my head and fall down. He laughed at me as I squinted my eyes at him. He's gonna pay for this.
I open the water bottle and pretended to drink some of it. I then pretended to be excited when I was about to cap the bottle back.

"Look Harry! There's something in here!" I said in an excited manner. Cher looked at me, totally confused. I winked at her, indicating her to play along.

"What is it?" He asked as he leaned in to see what was in my bottle. I took the opportunity and squeezed the water bottle's bottom, making the water splash out on Harry's face.

"You silly little frickin rat!" He cursed as he wiped off the water. I laughed at him and Cher did too.

"What's going - Hazza! What happened?" Niall laughed when he looked at Harry's wet face.

"Nothing, Hazza just got pranked. By me. The greatest prankster in the universe." I exaggerated, smirking at Harry.

"Doesn't give the idea, but okay." Niall shrugged as he took the seat that was on the opposite side. Liam, Louis and Zayn joined him there as the bus started to move. I took one last peek at Manchester and then got involved in a deep conversations about how boys are jerks with Cher. Harry was deeply offended when he heard a few things but I knew he was just joking. The other four boys were just clowning around, making silly jokes that no one laughed at.

*2 hours later*

"We are here at London, just a little while 'til we reach the Wembley Arena." The host of X Factor, David, announced.

"Ohmygawd!" Cher bounced as she looked out the window and showed the streets of London to Harry and I. She showed me the Oxford Street and the lane which led to her old house. I could see that she was super excited to come back home, I mean who wouldn't like coming home.

"And that is where I went to school!" She pointed to a building of three floors.

"Now contestants, we're here at The Wembley Arena!" David said as everyone looked out their windows and found a big white building.

"Y'all will be staying in here." David said as he led us to a hotel right next to the Arena. It was huge, big enough for everyone.

Unfortunately, me and the boys got separated because there were categories decided for everyone - Girls, Boys, Over 25's and Groups. But thankfully I had Cher with me as my roommate so I won't be as lonely as I thought I'd be.

Our room wasn't something you would call extremely pretty. It was decent enough for us to spend our nights in. It was kind of plain though, but then again we were going to stay in there for just a week and then we'll fly off to the judges' houses so there was no point in decorating the place.

Cher decided to unpack and organize everything, but my lazy ass told me that we will have to pack everything up in a week so I didn't unpack and shoved my luggage under my desk. I sat on my bed as I watched Cher unload her things.

"Hey, I'll just text Sophia to let her know we've reached." I told Cher as I pulled my phone out and opened Sophia's chat.

"Emma (5:27 pm) Heyyyy we've reached here at the Wembley Arena 😁"

"Sophia (5:27 pm) Heyyy how was the trip?"

"Emma (5:27 pm) Pretty decent 🤷😜"

"Sophia (5:28 pm) So where will u be staying?"

"Emma (5:28 pm) Wait I'll send u a pic."

"Emma (5:28 pm) [1 image attached]"

"Emma (5:28 pm) And there is a bathroom behind me."

"Sophia (5:28 pm) It's..."

"Sophia (5:28 pm) Okay ig... Not a huge fan of this room but I think it's survivable."

"Emma (5:28 pm) Survivable? Is that even a word?"

"Sophia (5:28 pm) Idk, but u get what I'm saying, ryt?"

"Emma (5:28 pm) yea... So ttyl cuz I'm kinda tired from all the travelling so I'm gunna go get a nap"

"Sophia (5:28 pm) K"

"Sophia (5:28 pm) Wait, there r two beds, who's ur roommate?"

"Emma (5:28 pm) Guess"

"Sophia (5:28 pm) Is it one of the boys? 😏😏"

"Emma (5:28 pm) No idiot, girls and boys have separate wings here ✋🙄
And my roommate is Cher Lloyd"

"Sophia (5:29 pm) Omg, ur roommate is Cher?! She's literally my favourite!"

"Emma (5:29 pm) Ikr! Same... So ttyl? I rly rly wanna sleep now btw can u tell mum and dad that I reached here safely too?"

"Sophia (5:29 pm) oh ryt! Go sleep! And yea, sure!"

"Emma (5:29 pm) k thanks byeee"

"Sophia (5:29 pm) byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

I chuckled at the amout of e's she put in there and put my phone aside. I told Cher that i was going to sleep since I was exhausted. She nodded and continued unpacking.

Sorry for the short chapter (again 😶) but if I continued to write in this chapter, it would've been too long and veryyyyyyy hard to edit later.
