Whaaaaaaaaatttttt?!

Emma's POV:

"And that's your cue to get on stage." David said as he ushered us all onto the stage. We were all dressed as Vampires, with lipstick smeared under our eyes and very light powder prepped up on our faces to give it a pale look. Red face paint had been painted on our necks and eyes to look like blood drooping out. It was halloween soon, so we all decided dressing up as Vampires would be cool. Because we all know that Vampires are super cool. No one can argue on that one.

And yes, Louise had done our makeup because all of us were clueless with how to work with cosmetics. Sorry not sorry.

Back to where we were, Liam started singing as we all shook and nodded our heads to the beats of our song for this week - Total Eclipse Of The Heart. Soon it was all our turns, and then Zayn ended the song by beautifully singing "there's nothing I can do, total eclipse of the heart..." We were applauded by the audience and the judges. The judges gave us decent remarks that sounded good enough to tell us that our group wasn't getting eliminated tonight. All of us had hands around each other's shoulders for a group hug.

"Okay, now that was One Direction, everybody!" David said, joining us on stage and the audience started clapping again, as he motioned for us to exit the stage. We were greeted by Cher, Katie, Rebecca and a person I didn't want to see in the backstage.

"Oh my God! Niall! Hi!" Cher exclaimed as she jumped onto Niall and he picked her up and spinned her around happily. All of us shifted from one leg to another awkwardly and Liam coughed slightly. The cough was enough to pull Niall and Cher away. I have a feeling that I know what's gonna come next...

"Emma, Harry, Liam, Zayn, Louis..." Cher greeted sheepishly. I shook my head as a chuckle escaped my lips. I smiled and hugged Cher. I then went on to hug Katie and Rebecca too, because we hadn't met for a long time. I know, sounds silly that I haven't met three people who are literally living in the same big house as me, but practicing and video diary stuff had kept us super extra busy. I then awkwardly shook hands with Aiden too, because for some reason he was here. The girls didn't know about my breakup yet, but my boys did, of course. It happened right in front of them. I could feel the lads watching my every movement as I shook my hand with him. Zayn coughed awkwardly as he pulled me back towards the boys protectively and I could never be thankful enough to him for doing that. From the corner of my eyes, I could see the lads glaring at Aiden ever so slightly, so that the girls didn't suspect anything.

"I think we should uhh... Get going...? We have to do some... We have to decide a song for next week." Liam lied, motioning for us to get going, as we all speed-walked back to the house. Half the way, we started running, nobody knows why.

"God that was so awkward..." I said as I tried to catch my breath with my hand over my chest, feeling ever beat of my heart that was thumping so fast, it felt like it was in a race with a cheetah.

"I know, right... And Niall, what's up with you and Cher?" Harry said as a smirk formed on his lips. I smiled at that too as my eyes glanced over at Niall, who had turned bright red.

"Aww look at that! You look like a tomato! An Irish tomato!" I remarked as I hugged Niall, laughing at how embarassed he was. The boys burst out laughing at "the Irish tomato".

"Heeeyyy!" Niall said as if he was offended but laughed his signature loud laugh with us none the less. I pulled away from him and noticed how happy he was. How happy everyone was. I wish we had more times like these, but Simon and Jake just had to ruin everything...

"But seriously though, what's going on with you and Cher?" Louis asked as he plopped down on a bean bag placed in the corner of a hall in which we currently were. Niall blushed again as he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
