Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can't live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay

Casey rolled over looking at her phone to see that it was 7am. She groaned but knew she needed to get up. She had a to do list a mile long and a flight to catch at 8 that night. What to do first, Casey thought. She decided to make breakfast and write down everything she needed to get done. After making herself a yogurt bowl with granola and raspberries, she sat down on the couch to create her list when her phone chimed.

Matisse: Good Morning Gorgeous! I'm pretty sure your still sleeping but I wanted to send you a text before we take off to Atlanta. I hope you slept okay. I can't wait to see you tomorrow. Text me when your awake.

Casey smiled. It felt so nice having someone text her good morning again. She still was feeling a little conflicted about taking things further with Matisse though. ESPN told everyone during orientation that if anyone was dating an athlete they would need to inform HR. It wasn't that her being with Matisse was a issue, it was the fact that she was brand new to the company. She didn't want the jersey chaser label attached to her nor did she want people to think she only wanted to work there to mess with athletes. Plus, she wasn't sure what Matisse really wanted. They were both fairly young at twenty two and twenty four. Most pro athletes weren't looking to be tied down at this age. But, Casey had such a nice night with Matisse last night. He was a total sweetheart, which made him even more attractive to her. She made a mental note to call Chris at some point and ask for his advice. For now, she'll take things slow and see where things go.

Casey:  Good Morning Handsome! I'm actually up already. Lots to do before I leave. I slept really well. Have a safe flight!

Casey hopped in the shower, then began packing her carry on. She had a meeting with Jeremiah and a few of the other staff members at headquarters before she drove to Laguardia. She turned on her Hopeless Romantic playlist on Spotify while she cleaned up her apartment. She was a neat freak and refused to leave with her place looking a mess. Casey was having a hard time deciding what clothes to bring with her. She had a pretty good idea on her work outfits, it was outfits to bring in case Matisse asked her out on a second date while in between games three and four. She finally decided on a blue and white striped dress from J. Crew for their breakfast date. She packed a pair of black heels and a black slip dress to wear just in case. Feeling good about her options, Casey finally got dressed. She threw on a black jumpsuit with her Tory Burch Miller sandals and pulled her hair into a high bun. She drove to work for her meeting and to pick up all her information for the next few days. Erica made sure she had all of her flight and hotel information ready to go. As she was driving to NYC to Laguardia, she began to wonder if Matisse and the rest of the sixers made it to Atlanta okay. Just as she pulled up to Laguardia, she received a text from Matisse.

Matisse: I'm sorry i'm just now texting. The airport had a shooting and then it was a made scramble trying to get us to practice on time. We just got to the hotel. You made it to the airport yet? Laguardia was a madhouse this morning.

Casey: OMG! Is everyone okay? I'm here now. I just checked in, waiting to get through security now. It is nuts here. Where the hell is everyone even going?

Matisse: We're okay. They never told us what was going on at the airport. I guess everyone was serious when they said they were going to be outside this summer LOL. What are you going to do until your flight? Everyone wants to go get some food but I honestly just want to chill here.
