Chapter 7: The Supremes Must Fall

FLASHBACK: A LONG TIME AGO...

MARCEL'S POV

"Is this a must, sister?" I questioned her tactics as she bound the poor woman up.

"Aye," she answered and turned to me, brushing my hair behind my ears as I moved from her. "I hate when you do that," I muttered and she flashed me a smile. "I hate when your hair is untamed, brother," she leaned forward, "this is bigger than that. This is for our family; we must avenge them."

"For father," Michael appeared from nowhere and I eyed our bastard brother. "Fine," I sighed, "but we must make sure it works this time. We can't get caught."

"Have I let anything harm you?" she asked, touching my face and Michael cleared his throat and she snapped toward him. "I may have failed you once, Michael, but I did kill the man that hurt you. Remember my loyalty is with my family, always," she looked sad, "and no matter what anyone says, you are my brother. You are our family."

"You are a Samosa," I added and he turned to me and smiled. "I must go," he sighed, "I have errands to run. Hopefully this works."

After he left, Aya sat beside the sleeping woman. "What is this that we are doing anyway?" I asked and she sighed. "Our family was the most powerful family ever and after father died, and we were separated briefly I have waited for the perfect moment to reunite us. So that we can claim what is rightfully ours." "And that starts with kidnapping women?" I asked.

"She's a mere prostitute, we're doing her a favor, I promise this. I can offer her a grand life as long as this works," Aya held out a needle, "I must clean her first and make sure her body is clear of poison."

"Will it hurt her?" I asked, watching as the woman tossed around and snuggled with her pillow. She was kind of adorable, too bad her life was so sad.

"Don't do that," Aya snapped me out of my daze and I blushed. "Do what?" "Get too close, she is an experiment, come."

She stood and I did the same as we left her to sleep.

"This is going to be a new beginning brother, and finally we will be on top as we belong." "I hope you're right sister," I mumbled as we left the sleeping soul.

Who would have expected our life to turn so upside down so...quickly?

**********************

"She is progressing rather quickly," a tech spoke up as we watched her in her room. Angelina.

She didn't know her family so she didn't have a last name, but I imagined she wouldn't care too much since she was growing used to our tests. Could she become a Samosa if everything worked out as planned? I don't know why I thought of those things, but it made my heart warm and I liked the thought of sharing my last name with the nameless beauty before me.

With her clean, I saw her true beauty and was drawn instantly to her and she was to me too.

She was always calmer when I was around, so with Aya's permission of course I was there when they began the official testing; she was compliant and we grew a friendship.

A true bond outside of my brothers and sisters and it felt...magical.

Too bad I didn't know how it would have ended; I would have never put us through that.

I was a Samosa before I was a man in love and I had to show my loyalty the only way my family would accept. The only way Aya would accept it.
