*after Thalia's and TJs call*

"And what are we supposed to do there if the person or people show up?" asked Brett.

"We'll fight."

"Seriously? That's a horrible plan." Said Theo. This guy was gonna drive me insane. Like literally insane.

"Do you have a better one?"

"No, but-.."

"Then shut the fuck up." Theo raised both eyebrows and looked at me with a "seriously "glare. I didn't care.

"Easy Liam." Said Brett with a calming voice. I muttered:

"Whatever."After Theo parked the truck he asked with an annoyed voice:

"Are we gonna stay in the car or what?" They looked at me. Oh, I almost forgot. The 'I am in charge when Scott isn't around' thing.

"Let's stay in the car. It's safer in here." Theo looked annoyed, TJ like she was expecting a fight and Brett seemed pretty calm. I could smell a little fear and anger in the air. I was scared. I wasn't scared of getting hurt. I was scared, no terrified, that someone else was gonna get hurt. I couldn't live when someone would die because of me.

"Liam." Said Brett calmly. I looked at him.

"It's okay to be scared." I forced a smile and nodded. He was like a brother to me. Always had good advice for me but still mocking me whenever he got the chance

"Thanks." Brett smiled at me. We sat in silence for a while. I guess we all prepared ourselves mentally for the worst. It felt like 4 hours when Thalia's car finally showed up. I felt like I could breathe again. But we were still in danger. They got out of the car. What the fuck? I guess TJ thought the same thing.

„What are the hell are they doing?" said TJ.

I didn't know why I did it but I opened the car door and got out. I heard Theo yelling my name but I ignored him. I walked towards the rest I looked at them scanning for injuries. Luckily I couldn't see one.

"Are you still being followed?"

"Unfortunately yes. They are like 1, 5 miles behind us." Answered Thalia.

"Corey take Mason and go hide." Corey nodded. Mason didn't resist.

"Uhmm... What should I do?" asked Nolan. He reeked of fear. His anxiety was kicking in so he should go hide with someone. I couldn't send him with Corey because it was safer to hide in pairs. I couldn't go and Thalia, TJ, and Theo were great fighters. Brett. He could go with him. It would also be good for Nolan to have someone around who knew how exactly to handle his anxiety.

"You can go with Brett. Stay hidden." He nodded.

"Let's go." We walked to the truck where the rest stood outside the truck. I went to Brett.

"Can you take care of Nolan? His anxiety is kicking in." Brett slightly nodded.

"Sure thing. The poor boy is the most of the time afraid of something." He was right. Wherever you were with Nolan he usually reeked of fear. No one ever told him about that to not freak him out.

"Yeah. So go hide and stay safe okay?"

"Of course." He smirked and I smirked back.

"Come on Nolan. Let's go." said Brett to Nolan. Nolan slowly went to Brett. They went to the woods and disappeared. Just like Corey and Mason. Right after that, I heard a car. They were here.
