We met Edward and Bella at the bottom of the mountain. From there it was a short conversation before I realized that we were splitting up; definitely not the right way either. Bella and Jacob started walking up the mountain in one way, then I and Edward went in different directions.

"Why," I asked.

"Well, Bella is most in danger so we are going to have Jacob and her walk together so hopefully wolf stench will cover it."

"He doesn't even smell,'' I thought.

He rolled his eyes and continued, "As for why you didn't go with them, it's just safer to go separately. Also going at a human pace will be way too slow. So you need to hop on my back so we can get up the mountain." He could tell I wasn't enthused with this plan. I climbed on his back. "Hold on," he said.

After I adjusted my grip we began racing up the mountain. It was unlike any speed I'd ever felt. When we reached the site there was a medium-sized tent. At least he didn't expect me to help him set the tent up.

"So just set your things up in the tent and try to stay as warm as possible."

"Thank you, Edward, I will." I climbed into the tent setting my things inside and pulling out the blankets, sweatshirts, and hand warmers I brought. Edward came in eventually and sat on the opposite side of the tent adjusting everything for Bella.

Something felt off deep down, I didn't want Edward, I wanted Jacob. He was all I've ever wanted, but I hated that Bella was always top priority over everything by everyone. Edward let me have that thought to myself; by that I mean he knew I felt that way but he didn't make a point to bring it up.

A few hours later Jacob and Bella finally made it to the site. When he opened the door Bella and he came into the tent. Immediately I threw my arms around him. The rest of the day was mostly spent chatting amongst ourselves and snacks.

When it became dark it became harder to stay warm but I had Jake holding me. Until he commented on Bella's teeth chattering. Jacob had him and I switch places so we could both be next to him and stay warm. I understood the reason but I didn't know why it had to hurt me so much. Edward cleared his throat almost to announce his presence.

"Trust me neither of us is happy about this," I thought. I knew Edward would hear it. He gave me a knowing look, so I knew he heard me.

That night was very restless. When I finally did go to sleep, the dream that I had made my heartbreak. The only dream I had I couldn't seem to wake from.

I saw my mother. She was standing a few feet away from me in between some trees. Jacob laid dead alongside her. I fell to my knees in the cold snow, she got what she wanted. I was finally drained and complacent to my mother.
When I was finally able to wake myself I heard Bella and Edward whispering outside the tent. It sounded like Bella was apologizing to Edward. I wrapped myself in one of the smaller blankets and walked out to see what was going on.

"Where is Jacob," I yawned. Edward's eyes darted to me.

"He uh- left already,"  Bella said.

"Oh ok," I said disappointed. Everything just didn't feel right. Why would Jacob run away without saying anything? Seth came around the corner and nuzzled up against me, I patted him on his head.

"Jacob just got there," Edward said. My heart was racing. I hoped for everyone's sake that Jacob was going to be okay. Edward kept talking about the fight, till he caught the scent of Victoria. "Seth go hide back there," he said.
We knew it was inevitable now, there was no getting away from Victoria. Bella and I stood behind Edward, Victoria and Riley were here standing in front of us. Edward and Victoria bickered back and forth.

"Now Seth," Edward called out. Seth jumped on Riley, taking him to the ground. Victoria jumped back into the trees. "You won't get another chance like this again. You want her, you want me to feel the pain you felt when I killed James when I tore him to pieces when I turned him into ash when I turned him into nothing."

Victoria shook in anger at the mention of her dead lover. She lunged at Edward, taking him to the ground. They wrestled back to their feet, Victoria then lunged at Bella and me before Edward threw her into a tree.

Riley continued to fight Seth, I was also scared Riley would hurt him. From the way, the fight looked like Seth had the upper hand, especially after he broke Reilly's hand off. They continued to fight while Bella and I hid back behind a tree. Riley broke away from Seth joining Victoria again.

Right before Edward was able to kill Riley, Victoria came up and grabbed his neck from behind. Bella dove to the ground by where our feet were. She dug through the snow almost looking for something.

When I turned my attention back to Edward, Riley held him while Victoria adjusted her grip on Edward's neck. That's when Bella found what she was looking for, she stood back up and swiped the sharp rock across her arm. It put Victoria and Riley off guard enough for Edward to slip out of their grasp.

"Bella what the fuck," I said. I ripped part of her shirt, tying it on the wound and applying pressure. In the period of time I was focused on Bella's arm Seth had killed Riley. Edward had Victoria backed up against a wall. When he finally was able to snap her neck Bella's bleeding looked to have stopped.

"Alice needs us now," Edward said. I gathered my things and walked over to Seth. He knelt, allowing me to climb onto his back.
