LUKE

The day came too soon that I had to leave to go back to Australia. Neither me nor Lissy was looking forward to the airport which I had to be there for four o'clock in the afternoon. She looked so much sadder than before and I never want to leave her.

I woke up wearing little clothes after sweating from ice skating yesterday. I could see cuts on her wrists, so many, I kissed them and ran my hand along them. This woke her up too causing her to see what I was doing, a look of fear on her face.

"Baby you are so beautiful, why do you punish yourself?" I asked her, gently leaning down to kiss her forehead.

"Sometimes things get too much and I don't know other option then to blame it on myself." She whispered, running her fingers along the cuts.

"If you ever need me after I go I'll always be a Skype or phone call away, I'll always be here for you. But promise me to try stop, for me." I told her.

When we finally managed to get out of bed we decided on going on a walk, anywhere. Lissy knew her way round so she could take me to all different places. We coincidentally get dressed into similar outfits: burgundy sweaters, black jeans, Converse, and green coats; I had a beanie on though. Lissy also put her camera round her neck to take pictures of us on our last day.

Lissy showed me to a old looking music shop called Broken Records. It looked like it had every single album ever, and every instrument as well.

I walked over to a guitar and picked it up, I immediately started playing it along to one of the songs playing quietly in the background. Lissy came over and took a picture of me her face beaming.

"I finally get to hear you play guitar in person." She smiled.

"I'm going to sing you a song, a very special song." I told her sitting down.

"Okay." She replied sitting opposite from me.

"This song is called Wherever You Are." I said, starting to gently strum on the strings.

"For a while we pretended

That we never had to end it

But we knew we'd have to say goodbye

You were crying at the airport

When they finally closed the plane door

I could barely hold it all inside

Torn in two

And I know I shouldn't tell you

But I just can't stop thinking of you

Wherever you are

You

Wherever you are

Every night I almost call you

Just to say it always will be you

Wherever you are."

She sat in awe tears rimming her eyes. I put the guitar down and pulled her into me. "I don't care how far away I am going to be from you, I'll always love you."

"I'll always love you too idiot." She said running her head into my shoulder to dry her tears.

ALICIA

Four o'clock came too soon, as we sat on our way to the airport. I held his hand the whole time not wanting to let go of what I have now, knowing it will soon be gone.

I went through security with him, constantly rubbing my eyes to stop tears falling. Luke pulled me close to him, practically hugging me the whole time.

We eventually got to Terminal 4 where Luke's plane leaves from. I didn't know what to do apart from pull him into me and cry into his chest.

"Baby girl, my cutie, shh calm down it's okay." He murmured into my hair.

"No it's not. You gave me a sense of happiness something I've not experienced in so long, you're my only sunshine and now you're leaving." I cried into his chest.

He stroked my hair and soon I felt drops of water fall into my hair. I looked up at him, his blue eyes glossy but still beautiful, and kissed him as hard as I could. I ran my hands through his hair whilst he held my cheeks, softly running his hands over them.

"Flight 4368 to Sydney, Australia now boarding."

"No, please no." He whispered unable to speak any louder, pressing his forehead to mine.

"Luke you have to go h- home." I stuttered, unsure where it came from.

"But Alicia, home is whenever I'm with you." He said although kissed me once more then grabbed his bags.

He started walking towards the entrance, getting smaller and smaller.

"Bye penguin boy, I love you." I attempted to shout using all I had left.

He looked round tears obvious in his eyes, "Bye cutie, I love you too."
