"Thou shall not covet."
The house belonged to a woman named Mrs Annie Chapman, it was a wooden made house and rested among many other, it had a beautiful lawn covered with flowers and grass, a postman entered the property and rang the doorbell of the house,
"Yes, I'm coming! The doorbell of this house is so loud, Who is it?""Madam there's a letter for you"
"I got a letter? At this time of the night?"
"Here ma'am, that's your letter"
She looked at the letter, it had no sender's address, nor did it have any receiver's address. She looked inside the letter with a puzzled face, it said 'Mrs Annie Chapman, It's so nice to see you'. Annie stopped the mailman as he was about to leave the premises and asked him, "Excuse me, but there's no sender's address on this, and all that this letter says is greetings, could you tell me who sent this to me?", the mailman got closer to her and whispered, "Mrs Annie Chapman, it's truly nice to see you"
Arthur arranged a meeting with Jack, they sat in a bar having a few drinks.
"This place is something isn't it? Men grumbling and fighting, people drinking and laughing, this is a little new to me, that's why I don't feel comfortable""You'll get used to it now that you're back here, Sir Arthur. The alcohol, the women, the life here is perfect if I could say"
"I haven't lived in the slums, I wouldn't know. But it sure sounds like fun"
"We call them rookeries here, the Whitechapel rookeries"
"So that's what they are called, the rookeries. Mr Jack I would love to visit your family sometime"
"Sir Arthur, I have no family. I live alone"
"Where do you live Mr Jack?"
"Just down the street, my house is not that far from here"
"So you're a local here, I see. Mr Jack, the last time I came to visit you here was because I thought you were a suspect for the Durham Cathedral incident, but then you told me you were not the killer, and then I left. But when I reached the Cathedral in Durham, I found a note that read, 'catch me if you can Arthur, I have high hopes for you', and when I was thinking how that note got into my pocket, I remembered your gratefulness towards me, when I bought you some drinks that night, you gave me a little pat and thanked me for it. Mr Jack it's not to late to surrender you know, surrender and it will make both our lives easier, you've killed enough"
"Sir Arthur, My father was a winemaker, and I spent most of my childhood at the vineyard helping him with his job. And that's when I noticed that, sometimes there are a few grape plants that don't bear any grapes, so what does the winemaker do? He takes the plant out and throws it into the furnace along with many other useless plants. And after that he plants another one of those grape plants in the same soil from which he plucked out the defective ones. I am the winemaker and the people are the grape plants. Turning myself in isn't written in my diary yet"
"Alright Mr Jack what if I take you in right now?"
He chuckled and said, "Sir Arthur, Sir Arthur, you don't have any evidence on me. How will you arrest me? Think for a bit, you're a smart man, I know it"
"Mr Jack, you're easy to read and that's what I like about you, we're friends now aren't we? But I'm sorry, I will have to catch you someday and on that day I will be the one laughing and not you."
"We'll see about that Sir Arthur, I hope I see you again"
"And Mr Jack can we drop with all the formalities, now that we are such close friends"
