From Sunrise To Starlight ✨

Somebody pinch me! I don't believe we are actually doing this.

I sat there in silence gazing at the stars. It was mesmerizing.The night sky was aglow with bright stars.But something suddenly caught my eye.

A shooting star!

It came closer and closer and closer until i figured out ...holy crap!

The star is coming right in my direction. My palms covered my face and i was getting ready for the impact the star would cause and then ...

BOOM!

I sat straight up in my bed sweating real hard, looking for any injuries or bruises but couldn't find any.
Damn it! Why can't i have normal dreams?

Me and my dreams they have a serious issue with the "happy ending" part.
Anyways, brushing off all that "literally shooting star" memories, i quickly went in for a shower and got into the most comfortable clothes i could find.
I quick dialed a number on my phone only to meet with a screeching voice on the call.

"Hellooo babyyy doll" screeched Naina from the other side of the line.

The excitement had REALLY done wonders to this girl's beautiful voice.

"Whoa, My ears are already bleeding Naina" I replied in a grumpy tone.

"Why are you so boring AAROHI?" asked Naina.

"Why are you so loud NAINA?" I replied mimicking her voice. I could already imagine naina rolling her eyes on my stupid comment.

"Whatever. So tell me are you done packing up stuff?"

"Uhm..ya almost, just last minute things and I'm good to go." I said normally.

"Right,i forgot who i was talking to" naina remarked lightly.

"What about AAISHA is she done with the packing?" She asked.

"I don't know, I'll add her on conference" i replied adding her number on the call.

"HIIIIILLLOOOO GUUYYYZZZZZZ"said a fake trembling voice. For god's sake someone teach these girls the etiquettes of picking up a call NORMALLY.

"So are you done packing?" Asked Naina.

"Yeah almost done..but I'm gonna go shopping for some snacks,you want me to get something for ya?"asked Aaisha.

"CUP NOODLES"
both me and naina said in unison. We weren't able to find any ... literally any single cup noodle in the departmental store in our apartment cause some maniac took all the 20 remaining packets.

huh! Crazy people.

"And you know the flavours right?" I asked smirking.

"Ofcourse i do bro" replied Aaisha laughing.

(yes we address each other as bro or guys... What's the big deal?).

"Cool then, CIAO gurls i still have some serious packing to do" said Naina.

"Oh sure you do" replied Aaisha laughing.

"Bye AAROHI, see you later."
" BYE Aaisha" i replied and hung up the phone.

I spent the rest of the day roaming around the house in search of all the items i need to pack and checking the list on my phone so that I don't miss out on  anything... Mom was busy packing all those stuff that she had made...you might get all the snacks in the world but nothing beats those that are homemade and packed specially by your MOM.

While i was busy watching mom packing those stuff she said sweetly "keep standing there and just keep watching .Infact! get a chair i suggest" she said with a sarcastic smile.
