We started walking and i took a moment to look around myself. There were long towering trees all around and the sun rays made their way through the gaps of the rustling leaves on the trees. The carpet of dried leaves under our foot rustled in rhythm with people carefully walking over it.
After a lot of bickering and sarcasm wars we finally managed to reach the settlement and i was free from the clutches of That self absorbed idiot!
I quickly went back with the girls and so did the others, all of them! BACK TO PAVILLION. We were gathered around an entrance and there was a sign board which said something in a language obviously not known to me.
"Okay guys and girls! Welcome to VELLAGAVI. This is a 50 house village with no road connecting it to the rest of the world. They have to either come down to where we came from or go up to Vattakanal for selling the fruits and spices which they grow in abundance. Oranges, Butter Fruit, Papaya, Banana, Guava, Passion Fruit, Jack Fruit are some of the many varieties of fruits you can find here. Now enough of trivia! Come on explore! Talk! And try to know these people. I'm sure you'll love it. And if not talk, just try to observe them. That'll tell a lot about them." Mr. Xavier finished his trivia and let us free for doing whatever we wanted to.
"Yessss! Come on let's go" i said jumping up and down excited like a small kid. But when i saw around myself, i was the only one this excited or to be honest even bothered! I mean why do you guys had to come here if you find these things so boring. Some people were complaining about the network not being available, some were on their phones, some just sat on a rock and some were uncomfortable (according to them) coming to this place. Idiots!
"Yeah! I read you gurl!" Naina said while reading my facial expressions.
"Leave these people! Let's get going" Aaisha said with a beautiful smile plastered on her face.
We started walking and trust me it was so damn beautiful. I mean the whole vibe. We saw women carrying pots and also small children playing some kind of game. There were tiny little shops and the houses gave a tribal feel with all those painted borders and the stone walls. It was just amazing. It's like we just time travelled in a world where there was love and peace.
"Hey! Can we play with you too?" Naina asked a little guy who was busy playing some sort of game with his mates.
"Yes" the little guy replied in English.
"Oh wow! You know english?" Aaisha exclaimed with surprise.
"Yes, yes" the little guy said with a proud tone.
"My name is akala... I am 7 years old. This is my village VELLAGAVI." The little guy said in his cute voice.I was fascinated to see such young children speak such fluent English. It was so heart touching. A little girl pulled up on my hoodie and gestured me to bend down.
"Hey! My name is Aarohi. What is your name?" I said pulling her Chubby little cheeks.
She gave a shy smile and hid behind Akala ...who i suppose was her elder brother. He was consoling the little girl and telling her not be shy.
"Hey you girls come here let's teach them how to play ring -a ring -a roses" Naina said holding our hands.
After a while Naina was almost done teaching them how to play it and the next moment we were 9-10 people playing ring a ring a roses. It was too much fun. All of them turned their attention towards us. Some watched us in AWE while some of them were just passing unwanted looks (go to hell we don't care! Atleast we aren't complaining like you).
Vihaan came around and took out his handycam and started recording. After a while people kept joining us and suddenly they started singing their tribal song and we were moving in a huge circle all together. More and more people joined.
