"STOP. BLINKING. FOR. THE. LOVE. OF. THE. GOD!" Naina snapped at me while she aggressively suppressed the urge to tape my eyelids to my face so that they don't move.

"STOP YELLING." I snapped back at Naina for torturing me through this.

"Aaisha, tell her that if she blinks anymore I won't be responsible for the punched black eye look she's going to walk with for the whole night." Naina said, walking back, her hands in her hair.

"Aarohi! Stop blinking." Aaisha said checking herself out in the mirror.

"Wow! Great. I didn't know how to do that." I said while Naina quickly applied the mascara.

"Ah! Finally." Naina said flashing a forced smile my way to make me less sulky because of her make up session and my impatient self.

"Wow! Dude I don't think they need those camp fires out there, I mean look at us. We're enough hotness." Aaisha said flipping her hair.

I wore a black crop top with puffy sleeves paired with black jean and I had to ditch my sport shoes to get into the black heels Naina gave me.

Naina wore a shirt dress that made her look cute, hot and beautiful all at the same time.

Aaisha donned a glossy brown  co-ord set that totally gave out boss babe vibes.

God! The level of satisfaction you get when you look exactly how you thought you would in an outfit is bliss.

We clicked some pictures and barged out of the door chit-chattering.

I locked the door behind me and joined Aaisha and Naina as they tagged along the pathway.

I saw Jay and Vihaan standing a few feet away.

I swear I saw their jaws dead drop to the ground and bounce back again as they saw us walking towards them.

"Oh my god! Such a copy cat." Aaisha gave Vihaan a side eye look.

"Wow! You're the one who came after and I'm being the copy cat?" Vihaan raised an eyebrow which made Aaisha laugh.

"I guess we're twinning tonight." Aaisha winked.

"We are? Oh, we are." Vihaan said rubbing the nape of his neck blushing like a 4 year old in his brown oversized hoodie that matched Aaisha's outfit.

"I'm totally going to steal some hearts tonight. What do you think Naina?" Jay said trying to draw attention towards him.

"I don't think about trash!" Naina snapped.

She's being a little too irritated lately. Mental note to myself:-
Ask Naina the reason for this behaviour and make her even more irritated.

"I'm keeping the key with me." Interrupted a hoarse voice.

Have you ever seen a small child's face after their mom said that she would buy them their favourite chocolate if they behaved well and then they never received a chocolate?

That's exactly how Aakarsh looked tonight in his all black outfit with a rugged jacket and a t shirt inside that said 'leave me alone' .

I was trying so hard to suppress my laughter and I heard Aaisha snort and Naina's rocket launcher laughter on it's verge to be launched.

"NOT.A.WORD." Aakarsh snapped, pointing his index finger at us and started walking towards the pathway.

A burst of laughter erupted out of us to which he must have eye rolled, definitely, and we all followed him towards the river bank laughing like lunatics.

When ZENDAYA said Always expect disappointment and you'll never get disappointed.

I could truly not agree less.

Because when I heard "party" I could imagine sweaty drunken teenagers, coiled against each other, a smoke veil killing the oxygen but to my surprise it wasn't anything close to it.

There were fairy lights all over, a small campfire was set and people had collected all the eatables in between, a small area, set aside for people to smoke, but they were secluded enough not to block my lungs.

An upbeat music played through the air and I recognised the tune to be Cheap thrills, there was a separate table stacked with different bottles containing all kinds of alcohol.

"Oh my god! This party is so lit." Aaisha chimed as we all started liking the vibe.

"Well, I agree. It's not that bad." I said smiling.

"Woaah! I'm already Lovin' it." Vihaan chimed as he took a twirl intaking the whole surrounding.

"Hello ladies!" I heard Samrat's voice brushing my ears as he passed me sending tingles down my spine.

What in the name of holy goddess!

"Hello, Gent." Jay said giving him his fakest possible smile ever.

And if that was supposed to be a joke it was pretty bad too. Gent! Gent?? Seriously?

Everytime Samrat was around us the guys had this 'sour face' on. I wonder what's nagging them.

Probably his highly flirtatious interference.

But then a group of people called him through the bar station and he animatedly walked away.

"What's this DJ'S playlist say anyway? 'Shittiest songs of all time'!" Naina scrunched her nose up at the bland playlist.

"Chillaxx Naina, the party has just started, we'll have a good word with the DJ after it's all settled." Aaisha winked at Naina.

We all stood there awkwardly looking at each other and just moving our bodies to the rhythm that played.

Except for..

Well obviously he stood as if the world would stop spinning if he moved a muscle in his body. As poker faced as ever. Mr. Grumpy.

"Uh.. okay I think I'm gonna go get some nice drinks..." Vihaan said as his eyes travelled for assurance from Aakarsh.

He shrugged in assurance.

"Yes! Come on who's joining me?" He asked excitedly.

"All of us!" Aaisha chirped as she dragged all of us towards the bar station.

"Come on! Aakarsh. I'm just asking you to join us, don't provoke me to drag you, calling out 'crashy is my best friend' to every soul present here." She said giving her killer smile.

"I'd rather bear the pain of your presence with me than having you scream that pathetic nick name out loud." He said in a defeated voice as he walked towards the station.

"Yay! Come on now everyone." She said as we all made our way through the river side.

Well, we're partying now!
