「I'm Sorry」

"Humans? No, it should be said that they where ex-humans. Just like the three people in the cinema. Their bodies where transmogrified by Cursed Energy." Ieiri said as she was on the phone. She had just finished studying and observing the ex-humans cursed spirits.

"If that's the case, I'll find out from the start. Those two opponents are full of cursed energy like cursed spirits." Nanami said as he was talking to Ieiri. Yuji had seated on the other couch with Y/n who was sleeping and leaning their head on his shoulder.

"You can only ask the culprit what cursed technique he used. But there are traces of tampering near the brain system. I think it's to create confusion with consciousness disorder. Even the brain can be modified. Perhaps he can modify humans to use cursed energy too. After all, the relationship between the brain... and cursed energy is still a mystery. By the way, is Itadori and Ayanaki listening?"

"Yes, er- well Y/n is sleeping" Yuji answered.

"That's fine. To put it simply, their cause of death... was due to shock caused by the modification. Itadori nor Ayanaki didn't kill him. Make no mistake about this."

"Yes." By the time Nanami ended the call, Y/n had woken up and started to rub theur eyes. The teen beside them gave the female a pat on the head.

"No matter what, it's the same death to me. Speaking of which, this is too evil." Yuji stated as he gripped tighter on the towel. The female beside him took his hand and hold it in her own to at least help in lessening the negative mood the boy was emitting which eventually worked.

'This boy can really get angry for others while the girl would protect any human, sranger to her or not... It doesn't make sense.' The blonde male thought.

"Those residuals are bait. It's probably to draw us out. The opponent is really skilled. I guess we can't finish it easily. Let's cheer up." He stood up as both teens looked up to him and smiled

"Yeah!"

MONDAY, 6:25 p.m.

"The recent disappearance... and bizarre deaths... are all consolidated by windows into residual report. We can pin-point the culprit's stronghold to a certain extent." Nanami explained as a map was tapped on the board. Ijichi was standing near the door as the two young jujutsu sorcerer were sitting on a table. Yuji was still while Y/n is swinging their legs back and forth.

"Good! Are we going to barge in?" Yuji asked as he stood up.

"No, it's just 'a mere approximation'. I'll keep investigating. I have no other job for the both of you." He pinned a picture of a boy on the map.

"The teenager who was in the cinema that time, Junpei Yoshino. He went to the same school as the victims." Nanami turned on the TV and there shows a teenage boy running.

"Based on his behavior from the surveillance video,"He paused the video before continuing. "the possibility of him being a 'Curse User' is very low. But from the connection between him and the victims is another matter."

"Curse User?"

"An evil version of a Jujutsu Sorcerer. I've handed it over to Ijichi. Could you three investigate Junpei Yoshino?

"Yes." Both Yuji and Ijichi saluted.

"Hmph!"

"Speaking of which, I don't know anyone besides Mr. Ijichi." The pink haired teen stated as he brought his hand down.

"Well, I'm the only one apart from Ayanaki who knows you're still alive. It can't be helped." He answered as he also brought his hand down. The white haired female jumped off of the table and followed Yuji who was walking out of the room.

"I see. Let's go!" Yuji raised his right hand as his other hand where now holding onto Y/n's hand. Nanami was left in the room with his arms crossed. Footsteps where heard as Ijichi's head poked out from the door.

"Our intel is more than a mere approximation, right? The location of the culprit."

"Of course. The culprit can leave the scene without leaving residuals if he wants. Is he purposely leading us into their hideout? I won't put Itadori and Ayanaki in harms way, I'll go alone. Because they are still kids."

"Nanami-sensei!" Yuji had appeared behind Ijichi, pushing him forward making him stumble but not enough to trip. The girl that was earlier beside him was now clinging on his back.

"Itadori? Ayanaki?"

"I forgot to tell you. You must be careful." The male teen smiled at him, same goes on the girl clinging on his back.

"Itadori-kun. I'm not a teacher, so don't call me sensei."

"Nanami then."

"I'll beat you up."

"I found it." Ijichi, Yuji, and Y/n where inside of a black car trailing behind Junpei.

"Strange, casual clothes?"

"He hasn't been to school lately." Ijichi parked he car near a store.

"We need to get off of the car now." The three of them got out of the car.

"Let's go." They started to follow Junpei with Ijichi in front of the two teens. Yuji was holding a cage where two curses are held.
