10. Farewell Midoria

"What do you mean something is coming?"

Before I get a chance to answer him, a loud crack shakes the ground, the fireworks have stopped, leaving the low lights of the Lantern's to light the darkness.

Chatter begins to roar around the lake as the ground continues to rumble.

Everyone moves to the balcony of the castle where Aria and Johnathan have been standing for the fireworks.

"What is going on?"

"Where is that sound coming from?"

"Are we in danger?"

"Why is it so dark?"

So many questions are turned on Aria and Johnathan who look as perplexed as everyone else, Aria looks at me when she sees me with a questioning look.

I give Aria a look that tells her I have something to say.

She raises her hands to calm the sea of frightened people, "Please everyone, calm down, if you direct your attention to Bree, you will see she has something to say"

All eyes dart to me making me feel very aware of how bad an idea this was, when I am here in amongst them and if I don't deliver this right I might find Aiden and I in more danger than I first thought.

"Please back up a bit so I can speak freely" They do as I ask quickly as another loud crack sound across the sky.

"I'm afraid what I believe is happening now is the Capium fields are breaking free"

Loud panicked chatter erupts immediately, "Please everyone calm down, let me speak"

"Why should we? that's preposterous, the Capium fields have never moved in hundreds of years"

"Yeah, how could you know?"

"Yes what proof do you have?"

"How do we know this isn't your doing?"

The last question hits me hard in the accusatory tone it was intended.

"I have never given you any reason not to trust or believe me, I am not trying to scare anyone and there is no way to give this news any other way, it is serious and very soon I believe the capium fields will engulf all of midoria."

Once again the chatter explodes louder than before

"This is our home we cant leave!"

"Yes, it is fine for those who have come from the outer lands but this is our home! We have nowhere we can run too"

"Yes, where would we go?"

"Please everyone calm down I need for anyone outside of Midoria to pack up and return home immediately"

I look to Aiden who knows my thoughts so well continues for me.

"If Bree says something is wrong it is because something is wrong, for those who are Midorian, Nigalia's door are open and will welcome you with open arms until we can find a solution to what is going on."

I give Aiden a great full smile, another crack rumbles the ground as a large bright bolt of red lightning splits the sky above making everyone drop to the ground in fear.

"MOVE!" I boom to the crowd, they don't move, another loud crack, followed by blood-red lightning shooting across the sky again.

I turn in the direction to see it, it's what I saw before, I know now it was a vision of this moment, a large dark, thick, cloud, is rolling towards us like the meanest storm I have ever seen in my life.
