Chapter 21

3rd Person POV

The Iidas were going through the classes, tagging, tying, and tricking most of them.
They even threw Minoru, Tsuyu, Hanta, and Manga out of bounds. For Hanta, it was less 'threw' and more 'slung', but it still counts.
After about fifteen minutes, Tenya, Eleven, and Nina shortened it down to Yuga, Toru, Sen, Togaru, Yui, Kinoko, Jurota, Kosei, and Kojiro. Then went to Neito and Tenten to start playing defense.

"They're really going at it..." Itsuka mentioned.
"Mhm..." Momo hummed as Itsuka was still trying to untie her, Izuku, and Ochako.
Eijiro, also tied up, hopped over to Itsuka, "When do you think you could untie the rest of us..?"
"Once I figure this out, Kirishima... And can't you just use your quirk?"
"Oh! Thank you, Kendo!"
"Anytime... How do you even tie braided knots like this?!" Izuku was about to say something, "Don't answer that."
"Sorry."
"Yaoyorozu, why can't you just make a knife or pair of scissors or something?!"
"I could try..? But you're going to have to take it out." A pair of handles then sprouted out of Momo's shoulder, and Itsuka yanked them out and cut the tapes.
"Finally..!" Ochako exclaimed.
"Alright, who's next?" Denki then walked up with his upper body tied up. Itsuka sighed as she cut off the tapes and went on to the next person.

"And just a reminder, can you all take your shoes off? I would hate to ruin their blanket. They even left us picnic baskets." Momo announced as she opened the first picnic basket.
The basket had two large containers and six thermals lining the upper and lower sides of the basket. The second basket had a bunch of paper plates, plastic cups and silverware, napkins, a bottle of syrup, and a couple of small containers.
Momo went back to the first basket and opened one of the containers. Inside it were pancakes, twenty-five of them, maybe? She closed it and put it back before taking out the paper plates in the other container.

"Would anyone like any pancakes? There's syrup, butter, and possibly tea."
"Pancakes?! F--k yeah! Hand 'em over, Ponytail!"
"Not until you take your shoes off, Bakugo!"
"They have tea? I want tea!"
"Uraraka, you need to take your shoes off too!"
"Oh, sorry!"

Momo started to hand out the pancakes, and during that time, Kinoko and Sen got tagged.
"You both want pancakes too?"
"..."
"Yes please, and can I have a lot of syrup on mine?"
"Ooh! How would mushrooms and pancakes taste together?" (Actually, that doesn't sound too bad)
"Mushrooms?! On pancakes?! You monster..." Denki claimed while pouring syrup on his pancakes.
Kinoko gasped, "Me, a monster?! Why I oughtta..."
"Komori! Kamina!"
"Kaminari."
"Close enough, quit arguing! It's too early for you both to argue," Itsuka stated.
"Sorry, Kendo..." Kinoko said, followed by Denki.
"Sorry, Kemo..."
"Touchè, mon Amie," Yuga said while cutting his pancake.

On another note, Kojiro tried to spray Tenya in glue. She dodged, but almost kicked Neito off the track.
"Sorry, Neito!"
"You're fine, I guess..."
Toru managed to get a good hit on Tenten, but when she went to tag him with a sticker, Neito had already snatched them. Nina ran after her before tripping on her heels and Kojiro took the opportunity to tag her.

Tenya immediately chased him but stopped when Yuga hit her with a laser to the arm, leaving a minor burn. Toru ran back to catch her breath, then bumped into Jurota, who mistook her for an Iida, or Monoma, and knocked her out of bounds.
"Shishida! Why'd you do that?!"
"Invisible girl?! I'm so sorry, I thought I was being attacked! Where even are you?"
"Hagakure, and I'm over here. To your left- no that's your right, your left, no no your left, your left- there you go."
"Oh, sorry."
She sighed, "No... you're fine."
Toru started to get up when Jurota's knees buckled. He caught himself, but was out of bounds.
"Maybe you should quit talking and pay attention to the task at hand..." Eleven said before going to attack Kosei or something.

Neito made a running start towards Yuga, doing his best to dodge his lasers, which wasn't exactly going as planned...
Neito gathered some electricity in his hand, and Yuga used his laser to get himself away. They played this song and dance a couple times until Tenya managed to tag Yuga as he was aiming.

Shortly after Yuga got tagged, Togaru went after Tenten. Togaru took a running start and made a blade come out of his forearm. Tenten barely dodged, earning a small graze on his side. Tenten ran away for a second before turning back and charging. Togaru decided to run closer to the edge of the track, and hope he can dodge. He took a couple of steps back when Tenten rammed into him, which was enough to knock them both out of bounds.

Eleven grabbed Tenya and Neito, and Yui and Kosei grouped up in the middle of the track.
"Tsuburaba?"
"Hmm?"
"Can you propel stuff midair?"
"Maybe, why?"
"I have an idea," Yui then pulled out the wrench she had earlier, "I was thinking maybe we try and knock them off their balance."
"Seems like a one-time thing, since Yanagi already got tagged a while ago."
"Yeah, but it could buy us some time."

"I can't see much from here..."
"Looks like they have a wrench or something..?" Eleven said.
"Do we wait for them to attack?" Neito asked.
"No, I say we do the roundabout maneuver again. It might catch them off guard."
"I don't think I can run much more though..."
"Can you at least hold the other end of the tape?"
"Mhm."
"Neito, you okay with being a distraction?"
Neito sighed, "Fine..."

Neito made a running start towards the two, electricity in his hand. Yui decided to throw the wrench and Kosei propelled it, but it still didn't go far.
Neito picked it up with his electrically charged hand and touched it with his other hand, causing it to also become electrically charged.
"Hey, Neito," Eleven called out, "Maybe instead of what we initially planned, you could handle them yourself..." She said with a smug look on her face.

Neito grinned and ran at Yui, who screamed and started running away, then Kosei trapped him in a box.
"Now we just need to tie up the box!" Kosei said, to which Neito dropped the wrench and put his hands on the sides of the box, causing it to also become electrically charged.
"Never mind then."

Eleven whispered something to Tenya before going after Yui, and Tenya started to sprint towards Kosei. Even without her engines, Kosei was still having a hard time avoiding her. She used her engines to make one final stride, wrapping the tape around his waist. And Eleven had already placed Yui out of bounds.

Eleven had Kosei get rid of Neito's box, and he was stuck in 'Denki mode.' The five walked over to the picnic blanket as Eleven announced something.
"Everyone! Our warm-up is over, and there are pancakes in the..." Eleven cut herself off, seeing as everyone had already helped themselves to the picnic baskets. "You know what..? Never mind, everyone who hasn't had breakfast yet, follow me! I'm sure my husband could whip up something while we wind down..."
