Hanta's POV
"Everyone who hasn't had breakfast yet, follow me! I'm sure my husband could whip something up while the rest of us wind down..." Iida's mom yelled as she, Iida, Kodai, Tsuburaba, and a 'Denki-fied' Monoma started walking over to where the rest of us were sitting.
Only a couple of people stood up, including me and the rest of Iida's family, and we started going into the house on the other side of the dirt road.
"Before we go in, just stay in the living room."
"Is there something we shouldn't see..?" I asked. Maybe Tsuburaba was right, we really are about to get murdered?
"Well, yes, but actually no. Just stay out of the bedrooms at least?"
"Mhm..."
"Cellophane, shoosh. Don't worry, ma'am. We'll stay behaved!" Kendo said.
"You better..."Kendo, Aoyama, Hagakure, Kaibara, Kamakiri, Kodai, Tsuburaba, and I walked in. To the left were a couch and a couple of armchairs in front of a fireplace. To the right, a kitchen. Like the really fancy ones with a sink in the island? Like that, but it's the only fancy part. And to the left of that was a staircase.
"Tenyu..?" Mrs. Iida called out, but the house remained silent. "Tenyu!" Someone fell out a door, upstairs to the left. He had black hair and was tangled up in a blanket.
"Yes, Elie..?"
"Mind making a couple more pancakes?"
"Honestly? If I see another pancake before I die it'll be too soo-..." He said before Hayaku shot him a glare. "n... Never mind then! I'll get right to it Elie!"
"Thank you, Tenyu." He started to unravel himself from the blanket and came down the stairs. Now that I had a closer look, he had bags under his eyes and a couple creases in his face, making him look nothing like the rest of Iida's family."Is... he your husband..?" Hagakure asked.
"Mhm. Been married for almost forty years."
"What do you mean 'almost forty years'?! You look thirty!" I said.
"Thirty? We're fifty-six."
"Oh my..." Kendo awed.
" 'Oh my' indeed..." Kaibara added.
"If everyone is done talking about my parents, may I go take a shower now?" Iida pipped.
"Hmm? Oh, yes, go ahead, Sweetie."
"Thank you, Mother."Iida went upstairs as her aunt trailed behind.
"Tenyu, Tenten, can you both keep an eye on them while us girls take a shower?"
"Of course, I can wait my turn," Iida's uncle said, waving his hands around.
"Don't worry, we'll try to be quick," Mrs. Hayaku went into a random room before going upstairs.Mr. Iida took out three pans and started the stove. "So. You all are Tenya and Neito's friends?"
"Ehh, it's more fifty: fifty on that one," Kaibara replied.
"Oh, so they don't share any friends?"
"I'm friends with the both of them. More Monoma than Iida though," Kendo said.
"Hmm... I thought they would share a couple more friends."
"You see, they're in different classes, and Monoma hated everyone else in our class up until he had a sleepover with us." I said.
"That's Neito alright... Speaking of which, is he okay? He's not one to space out."
"It's because of an Amie's quirk,"
"Oh? OH! Okay, I get it now." He placed a plate on the island before putting away the stuff he used. "I'll get the plates, you guys just try and find a place to sit."I grabbed a chair from the table, and the newly de-Denki-fied Monoma stole my seat.
"Oh, why thank you!" He quipped. A voice came from a room on the second floor.
"Neito! Use your table manners! And if I have to go down there, so help me I'll-"
"Sorry Auntie Eleven," Monoma yelled. He slid out of the seat before pulling it out for me.
"Oh, why thank you, Monoma! And I thought that no one could get you to behave!"
"Oh f-f... Screw you."
"Hmm? What was that?" I said. He flipped me off and pulled out seats for everyone else while Iida's uncle disappeared somewhere.Iida's dad grabbed a bunch of plates, along with a handful of silverware. "Just take what you need, but only one pancake per person, alright?"
"Yes sir!" We said in unison before eating. Iida's dad grabbed a couple of things from a cabinet and walked over to the other side of the room, where Monoma and Motor Oil were.
"What's that?" I asked.
"Painkillers and heartburn medication."
"Why would you need those?" Hagakure asked with her mouth full.
"Since Motor Oil's engines are on his back, they would be directly in contact with his heart. Go too far overboard and it can prove fatal." Kendo replied.
"Exactly. Didn't that happen to your uncle?" Iida's uncle nodded yes, and her dad took out a glass. As if on time, Iida, her mom, and her aunt stepped out of the bathroom.
"Tenten, your turn."
"Finally..."
Iida walked up to her dad and clung to him, he said, "Elie, Nina, I have your medication right here." He wrapped one arm around Iida and handed the pill bottle to Hayaku. "Hey, Tenya, nothing hurts, right?"
"I feel tired..." Iida said in a rather familiar tone.
"No pain at all?"
"I'm fine..."
Hayaku whispered to her husband, and he sighed, "Alright then, Tenya? Why don't you go take a nap?" Iida grumbled and her mom pulled her into another room."Hey, Sero."
"Hmm?"
"You seem awfully interested in this."
"Maybe 'cause no one ever talks about their families, I'm just curious."
"Alright then. You do you, mon Amie."Mrs. Iida walks out of the room she pulled Iida into, and carefully shuts the door. "Thank you, Tenyu." She put her head on her husband's chest and he wrapped his arms around her. "Of course, Sweetie."
Some of us awed, "Speaking of which, maybe I could have a kiss for my work?"
"Shut up, I'm tired..."
"C'mon, you never kiss me..."
"Maybe I would if you weren't so pushy..."
"Oh, so I'm pushy?!"
"You say it as if you didn't know."The two started to argue, and we silently made the decision to sneak into another room. Kendo closed the door behind us when Kamakiri asked, "Which room is this?"
"Mine?" He switched on the light, and it was Iida's brother.
Kendo rushed to say something, "Oh, we're so sorry! Your parents started fighting and we just wanted to get out of there, and-"
"Don't worry, they fight a lot. They're on and off, on and off, I have no idea how they even got married, especially with the people my mom dated while she was at UA. I just ask that you're quiet.""And why exact- Komori..! Get over here..!"
"But he has a pretty lamp... The stuff you put between the cracks is really nice."
"Thank you, it made the lamp pretty expensive to fix, but still."
"So you did it yourself?" Hagakure asked.
"No, I had a professional do it. And you, Yuga I think it was, mind telling your parents I said 'Happy anniversary'? I won't be able to make it because of the work I'd have to do at the agency in my dad's place."
"I will, thank you."
"With that out of the way, do you want me to stop my parents or..?"
"I wouldn't mind staying here for a little bit longer." Sen said as he sat down on the bed and started to pet Iida's head.
"So your mom dumped Iida with you, hmm?"
"Mhm."Iida's mom poked her head into the door, "Hey, Tensei, do you know where Neito is?"
"Neito's here too?"
"Yeah, I can't seem to find him. Your father is checking upstairs."
"Okay, I tell you when I find him."
"Thanks, Tensei. You nine, could you go bring everyone inside?"
"Of course!" Kendo said.
"Thank you, Tensei?"
"Yeah, yeah, lesson about how agencies work and how ours works in particular..."
"Thank you, now I need to take a nap, night."She left the door open, and Kendo pushed us outside. "C'mon everyone, outside!"
"But I kinda wanna stay."
"Komori..."
"Fine."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Why did this take so long to write...
Anyway, I started school a couple weeks ago, and I won't be able to get much writing done. And I've been thinking about revamping this, like putting chapters together tp make them longer. I've been thinking about writing more professionally, (don't worry, I'm sticking to fanfic for now), and I just want to make this a little more professional.
Hope you enjoyed!
