The more and more the days went on getting closer to summer the more confused and angrier I got. I kept thinking about Tonks offering for me to go and live with her and her parents and I couldn't understand why I had always been told that I was forced upon Lucius and Narcissa. Why were Andromeda and Ted not an option? Did they say no? Were they even asked to take me? Why was I told I didn't have any other family? What about my mother's side? I've never even asked about them. Is there anyone? These are the questions that have been swirling through my head for the past two months and surprisingly I was itching to get back to the manor for summer holidays. I need to speak to Narcissa, I don't want to do it over a letter I want to have a proper sit-down conversation with her. After all this is my family too and I have a right to know.

I haven't told any of my friends what Tonks had said or what I was going through in my head now because of it all. Maybe I should talk to one of them.

"Lissa, Lissaaa, LISSSSSSSAAAAAAA!" Fred sang at me snapping me out of my daze. I had completely blanked out on him when he was trying to explain our next prank. We were sitting in the transfiguration courtyard on the grass under the big tree.

"Ohh I'm sorry Fred."

"You've been doing that a lot lately, what's up?"

Should I burden Fred with this? I know I said I should probably talk to one of my friends but it's a lot to hear all at once. Is Fred the right person to talk to? What if he laughs at me?

"Oii earth to Lissa?" He snapped me back again "You're doing it again. Tell me what's wrong."

"Okay, well, do you remember the day Tonks and I hung out by the lake getting to know each other?"

"Of course. That's the day you found out how to get into the kitchens."

"Yea so she said some things to me that I can't stop thinking about." I went on to explain everything to him including the questions that had been plaguing my mind the last two months.

"Lissa that's an awful lot to keep to yourself. Why haven't you told any of us before?"

"I didn't want to burden any of you with this."

"We're your friends, that's what we're here for." He said moving to sit beside me and he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"I know but it's so much to deal with."

"That's exactly why you can't keep it to yourself." I gave him a grateful smile to let him know how much I appreciate him and then I leaned into his shoulder. "So how are you going to start this conversation with Narcissa?"

"I have absolutely no idea. I don't even know if she will tell me everything or if she will just tell me lies. I'll probably forget everything I want to ask."

"Why don't we start by writing down the things you want to ask her?"

"That's a great idea" I say shooting up and rummaging through my bag to find my ink pot, quill and some parchment. Fred and I sat there until the dinner bell went. He helped me write down every question I wanted to ask to get the answers I need from my cousin. We even made sure to word everything in a way that wouldn't offend her, so I wouldn't get kicked out or locked up for ungratefulness. We packed up and headed back into the castle for dinner.

"Don't hold things like this in again Lissa." Said Fred giving me a side hug while we walked along. "Ohh and you better send me an owl telling me everything she said.

"Thanks Freddie and I promise I will because I'll be sending you an owl at least twice a week."

He stopped abruptly and I turned to see him bent down with his hand over heart. "Only twice a week?" He fell to his knees. "I'm hurt Lissa."
