MAEVE KICKED AT THE DIRT WITH HER BOOTS AS SHE WALKED BESIDE JEAN. "Levi said he lost hope," Maeve said referring to her ODM gear lessons. She couldn't help but now laugh at his frustration and her awful balance.

"I'll help you," Jean told her. Maeve smiled up at him. "Really? Are you sure?" She asked him. Things were getting more intense now, if anything Maeve could find the time to practice alone if Jean was too busy. "It's nothing," He brushed it.

"Not to brag but I was the most skilled when it came to ODM gear when I graduated." Jean shrugged his shoulders and smirked. Before Maeve could respond Sasha popped out. "That was when we were 15 and Mikasa was better than you," She said while chewing on a piece of bread.

"That's not true, ignore her." Jean turned over towards Maeve and smiled. "I'll love for that, I need all the help I can get," Maeve told him. Sasha groaned and pulled at Maeve's arm. "Let's ditch this loser so you can come to help me get ready," Sasha said referring to the fact that everyone would soon be making a trip to Marley.

Preparations were just beginning and Sasha wanted all the help she could get. "Sure," She followed behind Sasha. Maeve turned around and waved quickly to Jean before entering the building.

"You're the best, what would I do without you?" Sasha said while she held onto Maeve's arm. "You wouldn't last a day," Maeve smiled down at her friend. "You're right," Sasha pulled Maeve closer and snuggled her face into her arm.

They both reach Sasha's room, both entered and Maeve shut the door behind her. "I need help with what to pack, what's the fashion like in Marley?" She said as she went pulled out her clothes from her drawer.

Sasha dumped it all onto her bed. Maeve walked over and began to rummage through the pile.

"Skirts and button-ups are currently trending for women's fashion right now," Maeve said as she held up a brown skirt. Sasha grabbed it from Maeve's hand and held it to her body. "I don't think I've worn this," She mumbled.

"Well, I'm sure you'll look great in it." Maeve continued looking through the pile of clothes.  Sasha leaned over Maeve's shoulder as she watched Maeve sort out the clothes. "This is what I think you should bring." She said while looking down at the clothes. Sasha nodded her head and scooped up the rest of the clothes and shoved them into her closet.

Sasha shut the door and dusted her hands off. "That's a problem for future Sasha," She said while walking back over. Maeve laughed as she shook her head. "Future Sasha is going to regret this." Maeve cleaned off the rest of Sasha's bed.

"I hate to go all serious on you but can I ask you something?" Sasha looked up at Maeve. She stopped what she was doing and turned to Sasha.

While Sasha wasn't short, Maeve was still taller than her. She was almost as tall as Jean, and Maeve stood an inch shorter than Connie. "Yes, of course. What is it?" Maeve asked Sasha.
