Unapologetically in Love

Café

Somewhere in the middle the night, a cold shiver ran over your body. Realizing you and Hailee were both still on the couch, naked with nothing to cover up with, you gently curl her body into yours and carry her to your bedroom. You lay her onto the bed pulling the covers up over her and sliding in next to her. Hailee immediately cuddles up into you. You kiss her forehead and drift back to sleep. 

A few hours later you are awoken by Hailee's finger tips slowly caressing your clavicle, her head still resting on your shoulder. 

"Good morning" you whisper, eyes still half closed. 

"Good morning beautiful" Hailee says back while her hand comes to your face and gently turns you so you look at her. Her lips come and meet yours. The kiss is gentle but once you feel her lips on yours you lean your body into the kiss, rolling you both over to your sides. Laying there, staring into each others eyes, you trace your fingertip along her face placing a lock of hair behind her ears. 

 "Are you sure everything is ok from last night?" you ask. 

"yeah... I'm sorry I ever doubted you." 

You place your hand firmer on her cheek, giving Hailee a more serious look.

"I missed you so much." you say, tears forming in your eyes. "I don't want to ever come close to losing you. Three weeks without you was hard, I don't want to think about forever without you." 

"No No No baby, you do not have to worry about that. We are good and I am here and if I have to travel anymore, I'm dragging you along with me because I missed you so incredible much." Hailee leans in and places a kiss on your lips and wipes away the tear that has fallen from your eye. 

"You won't have to drag me" you say laughing leaning your forehead to hers, brushing your nose gently against hers. "before we crawl out of this very comfy bed,  tell me about the tour, let me see all the pictures you took that weren't posted all over the internet." 

You both lay in bed cuddled up as Hailee goes through her phone showing you all the photos. You can see how her face lights up telling you all the stories. 

"Seeing you light up telling me all of this, this smile on your face, your little laughs, this is what makes the 3 weeks apart worth it." 

"Thank you for being so amazing and trusting me. We have been together less than a year and you allowed me the freedom to go on tour. You didn't make me choose and you didn't guilt me while I was gone for not giving you the time and attention. You don't know how much that means to me." 

"Hailee, I will never make you choose between your career and me. It wouldn't be fair. Thank you for coming home to me." 

You both lean in and kiss. One kiss turned into a little make out session. Hands roam over each others naked body but before it could go any farther your stomach growls. 

"looks like we better get some food. do you want to go out for breakfast or I can cook up some pancakes here?" 

"Why don't we get dressed and head down to that little café by the shop. I could really go for one of their fresh blueberry muffin and a cup of tea." Hailee responded. 

You were a little shocked that she wanted to do a public outing together, but you were happy for the small step forward in your relationship. In a way, you knew this was Hailee's way of trusting you like you did with her tour. 

You both get dressed and head to your car. 

"Is it ok if we park at the shop and walk to the café?" you ask Hailee not wanting to push the limits of being out in public together.
