"IM SERIOUS, IT WAS A REAL TEXAS RANGER" Michelle screams.
They were rounding the corner on to the hall of Max's apartment, and they were more than tipsy.
"SHHHH" Max yelled, laughing and using the wall as support to keep from falling over.
Michelle is not so nimble, and falls face first in front of Max's door.
Max slid down the wall, trying, and failing, to stifle her laughter.
The door across from them opens and Spencer pokes his head through. The concern in his face turns to amusement as he analyzes the scene.
"You girls good?" He says, coming out of his apartment the rest of the way. He was barefoot, and dressed in a black v neck tee, and jeans.
"It's him! Agent-Doctor Reid!" Max yells, smiling stupidly.
Michelle, still face down, raises her arms and yells, "you got nothing on us officer.... Legally we are intoxicated on private property, and we took an Uber here, and I got his number." She rambles, her voice is muffled by the floor.
Max laughs and rolls to lay beside her saying "He's not a cop he's a special agent, doctor thing."
Everything was funny to Max. And spinning.
Spencer laughs this time and says, "well, lucky for you ladies I am off duty."
The girls laugh some more, causing another door to open in the hall.
A lady and her chihuahua look at the scene in disgust, but the girls on the floor pay her no mind.
When it was clear to Spencer they wouldn't be getting up on their own, he waves to the woman saying "I got it Miss Herrington," and crosses the hall to pull Max up by her shoulders.
She leans in to him, and he's the only thing keeping her upright.
"You smell nice" Max says, her face close to his.
"Where's your keys?" He asks, noting the click of the door telling him Miss. Herrington had left.
Max shrugs, not blinking as she looks at him.
He looks especially good to her tonight, "like an angel, or a Greek god" she thought.

He leans over, still steadying Max, and hooks an arm around Michelle's (who still hadn't moved) and pulls her up as well.
"In her bag" Michelle says when she gets her footing.
She shrugs off Spencer's arm, and takes Max's bag from her, finds the keys, and unlocks the door.
