Chapter 8

Have you ever been in a dream where it felt so real but then you suddenly wake up to find yourself in your bed?

Well right now I really wish I was in a dream that just felt really real but I would suddenly wake up in my bed and all would be well.

But that's not reality unfortunately, because right now I'm witnessing a murder and I can't do anything but just stand there. It's like my feet are super glued to the ground.

22 times.

That's how many times I counted Arne stab Bruno. While I was glued to the ground watching somebody get murdered, Debbie was screaming uncontrollably.

Arne suddenly stood up, dropping the knife. Debbie stopped screaming and the air around us was tense. Debbie and I didn't make a sound or move, afraid that if we did we'd be one of the next victims.

But Arne didn't pay us any attention, he didn't even spare us a look. He just got up and left out the door, walking to god knows where.

The sound of the door closing, finally breaks me out of my state and I immediately rush over to Bruno.

I don't even care that all the blood is getting over me. I press two fingers on his neck trying to find a pulse. That by some miracle maybe he's still alive.
But I was wrong.

"Oh Bruno. I'm so sorry." I whimpered. His lifeless eyes stared at the ceiling. There wasn't a part of his body that wasn't drenched in blood.

Debbie still sobbing, finally made me look up at her and realize the situation we were in. I immediately rush towards her, putting my hands on her shoulders and rubbing smoothly.

"Debbie." I said, trying to get her to calm down.

"Debbie!" I yelled, making her look at me.

"W-what was that?! Why did Arne do that?!" Debbie sobs.

"I'll explain everything later but Debbie you need to call the police right now." I said.

"Is that why Arne was acting so strange lately? Why h-he seemed so off? Was he planning on killing Bruno all along?" She suddenly asked.

I couldn't help but laugh a little at her crazy accusation.

"What?" I asked. She didn't say anything but just stare at me for moment.

"Did you know?" She whispered.

"What? Are you fucking crazy?! Of course not! Why would you think that Debbie?" I asked, frowning.

She didn't say anything but glance at Bruno's dead body making her break down again.

"Hey! Hey! Debbie listen okay? That wasn't Arne." I said, moving my face so that she couldn't see Bruno's body anymore.

"What do you mean that wasn't Arne? Of course it was! I saw him! He stabbed Bruno repeatedly with a knife and it seemed like he didn't even care!" She spit out.

"Why are you defending him right now! He just murdered someone and-" Debbie kept on rambling, but me having enough I finally shut her up.

"Just shut the fuck up and let me talk!" I snapped, thankfully shutting her up.

"Debbie. I need you to call the police and tell them that somebody's been murdered. I want for you to wait for them here okay?" I said, sternly. She just nodded her head.

"After you call the police I want you to immediately call Ed and Lorraine Warren at the hospital. Tell them that they were right and that it isn't over and that it has Arne." I said, making her frown in confusion.

"W-what?" She asked, perplexed.

"Okay?!" I said, before heading towards the door.

"Well where are you going? Why aren't you staying here with me?" She asked, flustered.

"I'm going to find Arne." I said, about to make my way out the door.

"What?! No!" Debbie said, rushing after me and stopping me from leaving.

"You can't go after him! He's a murderer! He could easily murder you too!" She said, grabbing my wrist.

"Seriously?" I asked, stunned while I ripped my wrist from her grasp.

"How are you talking about your boyfriend like that?!" I asked.

"T-that's not my boyfriend anymore." She said.

I just looked at her in disgust. How could she say that about someone she loves?

"Just call the police and then Ed and Lorraine and tell them what I told you." I said, giving her one last glare before rushing out the house.

Guess I was right about something bad happening today.

I hope you liked this chapter even though you don't see much of Arne in it.

But hey seems like Arne is single now lol ;)
