" hii, i got you coffee " jaehyun walks into your office
you smiled and stood up to give him a hug
" missed me? " he smiles
you nodded and kept hugging him
" when does your shift end " he asks
" 7pm " you groaned
he smiled at you
" it's okay, i'll be here with you till you go home " he says
" no you can go first " you say
" i'm not leaving my girlfriend " he smiles
you blushed and looked away, giving him a kiss on his cheek
" i gotta go now, see you at lunch " he pats your back and leaves
your heart was fluttering, you both started to date about 2 weeks ago
he asked you on a date and it felt like highschool all over again
puppy love was a good title

4 hours later
your desk phone rang and you saw that the reception was calling you, so you picked it up
" hello it's y/n " you spoke with a sigh
" your ex boyfriend is ganging up on jaehyun in the bathroom " she says
you gasped and hung up the phone, storming to the bathroom
you see your ex's men guarding the bathroom door, surrounded by females aswell
the females were just listening outside the door, not doing anything
" fuck are you all doing? are you not police officers anymore?! " you yelled at the girls
" noona.. you can't go in there " your two trusted dongsengs both held you back

you saw your ex with a bloody wrist and brass knuckles
jaehyun had his hands cuffed to the ceiling pipes
" what are you doing?! " you pushed him away and unlocked jaehyun's cuffs
you helped him sit against a wall and unbuttoned his uniform to see bruises and cuts
he groaned and clenched his stomach
you glared at your ex and you stood up, about to yell
" are you still a fucking kid?! abusing another colleague?! how the fuck are you the chief here?!? " you pushed him back
your ex clenched his fists
" go ahead! punch me! the people you arrest do the same thing as you so why aren't you in prison just like them?! " you pushed him again
" this is the guy you chose over me y/n? " he asks softly
" so that's why you're beating him up? because of jealousy?! " you yelled again
you couldn't contain your anger, you grabbed handcuffs and cuffed him up
" you're under arrest for battery " you pushed him towards his ' men '
his men looked at you, not knowing what to do
" GO! PUT HIM IN A CELL! YOU STUDIED FOR 19 WEEKS FOR THIS " you eyed all his men
they all listened and treated their boss as a criminal
you went to jaehyun and helped him up
you brought him to your office and sat him on your desk
" that was hot as fuck " jaehyun smiles
you looked at him, how could he still smile right now
" how could you let them do this to you? " you ask softly, grabbing ointment
he smiled
" i don't wanna get charged for battery " he pinches your cheek
" it's just defense! and i'm sure you could out fight all of them " you say
" well he's your ex " he says
" it doesn't give him the privilege to do that " you say
he cupped your face and kissed you
" i love you soo much " he cooes
" i'm not done yet " you say
" sorry " he says
" i still have to arrest the people involved. give the fucking girls a good lesson " you say
he smiled and pulled your waist closer
" you're so pretty when you're mad " he says
you ignore him and stood back
" aww are you mad at me too? " he pouts
you shook your head
he pulled you close and kissed your forehead, giving you a hug
" i was so worried about you " you sniffled
he smiled
" i understand, when you get angry you cry " he comforts you
you proceeded to cry in his arms, glad that he was okay

jaehyun came out your office with a bandage wrapped around his torso, receiving looks from colleagues
you sucked up your tears and went to scold them
