you woke up to feel heat surrounding you, a male with a handkerchief surrounding his mouth aggressively tapped your arm to wake you up

he carries you on his back and try to run out of the house, the walls were up in red flames with dark smoke surrounding the atmosphere making it imposing to breathe
you grow weaker and weaker as the smoke piles up amd you faint on the male's shoulders unable to stay conscious any longer
" stay awake! " the male yelled
your eyes lifted a little before shutting up, you try so hard to lift your eyes up but you couldn't hold on any longer
the ceiling of the house falls and a burning wooden log hits your back causing you to yelp in pain
the male finally saw an exit and rushed out of the burning house immediately to many fire trucks and ambulance
you felt yourself giving out before you felt cold air hitting you, they must've blew a fire extinguisher on your back
the male sat you down in the back of the ambulance and you felt cold steel hit your thighs, a person with gloves took of your shirt and immediately started to treat your wound
someone pressed a ventilation mask to your face and you could finally breathe again, you coughed a few times and felt so many people assisting you
they all asked if you were okay, you looked up and saw jaehyun infront of you with ashes all over his body
he knelt down and held your hand, relieved that you were okay you smiled warmly at him knowing that he was fine too
" ma'am we need to cut your bra to treat your wound, sir can you please shut the door and help me lift her legs? " the female paramedic told jaehyun
he nods and lift you to sit on the medical bed in the ambulance, he shut the door and she cuts your bra
" do you remember what happened? " jaehyun asks you
you try to recall your memories, you remembered you were boiling hot water in a kettle and falling asleep in your bedroom
you must've forgot about it, and it probably lit the whole house on fire
you explained to him the whole story
" our neighbor called me when they saw dark smoke going out of the window, i literally rushed home from practice and i remembered you were at home " he held your hand tighter
" the whole house was up in flames, none of the firefighters wanted to go in.. so i just ran in there " he looked down
" damn i almost died " you laughed
" i was scared to death " he held his chest

the paramedics gave you a new shirt and you wore it, they also told you that you have a burn in your back and jaehyun needs to apply some cream for you
you went out of the ambulance and saw all of NCT members outside waiting for you, along with your neighbour
you looked at your burnt house and saw firefighters spraying water at it with a big hose
they gave you your wallet and phone which they found unharmed
" dude thank god you're okay! " they all hugged you
" i almost died! " you laughed
