2:30pm
you were running on the track with your PE class
it was last period and you couldn't wait to go home and rest
you hear someone calling your name faintly and you turned around to see jaehyun
" heyy i have football practice until 4, wanna walk home together? " he asks
you nodded as you panted, heaving your chest up and down
you felt like running was hard..
" i'll w- "
" Y/N! " jaehyun yelled
your eyes rolled back and you hit your head on the track very hard
jaehyun lifted your head and tried to get you to wake up
the coach came over and saw foam bubbling in your mouth
" call the ambulance! " the coach yells

6pm
you woke up with a dry mouth and a cold face
jaehyun looked at you and held your hand
" are you okay? " he asks concerningly
you nodded and tried to reach for the water
he grabs it for you and you drink it to rehydrate yourself
" what happened? " you ask
" you fainted.. " he says
" what did the doctor say? " you ask
" i don't know, he said maybe it's a heat stroke " jaehyun pats your head
you nodded and looked around the hospital room
" where are my parents? " you ask
" the hospital called them, they're on their way.. i think they just got off work " he says
you nodded and rested your head
" i've never fainted before.. " you said softly
" well there's a first for everything " he smiles, trying to cheer you up
eventually your parents arrive and the doctor comes into the room
" usually the reason why patients faint during exercise is dehydration, heat stroke, or diabetes.. we have to look in further and run more tests to get the exact diagnosis so you have to stay here for another night is that okay? " he asks
" oh yes of course, please take care of my daughter " your father says
your parents know jaehyun because he lives across your apartment, you both grew up together too
" jaehyun ah, thank you so much for taking care of
y/n while we were gone " your mom rubbed jaehyun's arm comfortingly
" oh no problem mrs lee " jaehyun bows
" y/n's not gonna go to school tomorrow, can you bring her homework to her? we're gonna be at work, if that's not too much trouble " your dad asks
" of course, i was gonna come back here after school tomorrow anyways " jaehyun says
you smiled at jaehyun, you've never seen him care about you so much
" your mom will stay over, i'll bring your clothes " your dad says
" come i'll fetch you home " your dad pats jaehyun's back
you nodded and jaehyun gave you a glance
