Charge

"Goodmorning. For those who don't know me I am Dr. Shepherd, head of Neuro here at Seattl Grace. Your resident is home sick right now-"

"Bailey is sick! Is this some kind of joke? Are we on Punk'd?" George piped up loking around the change room for Ashton.

"No O'Malley. She is sick, and I don't question that if this is what she has to work with everyday." he snapped as the five interns infront of him stopped all the laughing and chattering. Barbie stood infron of him a smile on her face, content listening and follwing his instructions.

"Now, I am very busy. I have my own crap to take care of, now all of you. So no screwing up, no messing around. I don't want to hear that you were screwing in an on-call room, or stealing wheel chair and having your own little derby in the hallways. You are the only group of interns that have the reputation so sickening you will risk Dr. Bailey's career and the rest of Seattle Grace sooner or later. There will be no trying to fool me. Now assignements." he said with a stern voice.

He knew that Mirandas interns were a pain in the ass. He was going to shapen their papered ass before Bailey came back. He would show everybody, Burke, and the Chief that he could make change.

Maybe today wasn't going to be to bad after all.

Mr. Seales

"Karev, Yang, you are with Burke. He has a heart transplant scehduled at three. O'Malley you are with the chief and his VIP patient. Don't screw up now." he told them as they nodded and ran off excitedly to their day of cutting. Leaving the blonde standing infront of him.

"So, I guess I'm with you Dr. Shepherd." she said with a smile as wide a you think that she slept with a watermelon in her mouth.

"Yes, you are. " he said with a grin. "Now we are heading to room 232 for our first patient. I think you are the perfect person for the job."

She blushed til she looked like a cherry. He could tell he was having a great effect on her. They walked down the hall straight to the patients room. Entering they were met with a fifty four year old man. Scruffed jaw and missing teeth, the ones that were still intacted covered in residue and food stains. His belly defined under the bed sheet and his double chin hitting his chest.

"Hello Mr. Searles. How are you feeling today?" he asked as he took the chart from where it was hanging on the bed.

"Anxious. My surgery is today, right Doc?" he said with a chuckle.

"That it is. I would like you to meet Dr. Stevens, she will be assisting you today as well inside the OR."

Barbie walked up the the bed slightlu disgusted with the male laying in the hospital bed. Her face not hiding it one bit. "Hello Mr. Searles." she replied trying to cover up her thoughts with the sickening sweet voice.

"She's pretty Doc. I have a feeling you're giving me some eye candy to make up for me dying in a few hours." he responded with a laugh, obviously joking. Derek laughed with him.

This was one patient that he was fond of, who had a sense of humor and a great personality like no other. He may have looked like an unemployed, un hygenic male but his inner self made up for all of that.

"Dr. Stevens," Derek called out. "We have to go through a full rounf check up before his surgery this afternoon. Now he has a tumor located at the center of his frontal lobe. We need to test his whole bodily responses. Are you up for this?" he asked.

"I'm up for anything Dr. Shepherd." she replied enthusiastuically.

"Good." he replied with a smirk. "I need you to put on some altes gloves and some petruleum jelly."
