Morning
She didn't know how she got into her bed. How she could ever even fall asleep after what had happened the othet night. Things were said. Things were brought back. Those things still hurt. Things that she made herself not think about anymore, not remember those moments where she was alone, when she was scared, or when she was careless.
The sun peaked through her unblinded window, a sunny day in Seattle. A day like this that happened rarely. The God's were taking a break from the loud bowling tournament, or as she would have liked to believe.
Turning over to her side she pulled her pillow close to her. The scent of lavender hitting her nose bringing some kind of peace. A peace that only could last for those few seconds. She wanted comfort. Her bed all warm and colourful provided the physical warmth a person should obtain. Emotionally she was rather screwed.
He had left the money on her nightstand.
All five grand, all the money she saved was in the pile, laying next to her.
She slowly sat up, rubbing the dreadful sleep in her eyes before letting her bare feet hit the cold floor. Her toes tingling as the sudden contact, making her awake and aware. Looking down at her body she still had the clothes she wore yesterday. A little more rumple, more creases with some oil stains from the chips and beer.
She could feel her eyelids rather swollen, her eye stung from the aftermath she part took in the previous night. Her thraot sore as she tried to swallow, tried to make her dry mouth less desert like.
She had to face the music one day, she knew the reality of the situation. But the way he looked at her the other night, he looked at her as if she were inhuman. A pathetic thing that could do nothing good in his eyes.
She chose not to, at least for now.

Miranda
There were two more days until the Charity Gala, two more days. He still needed to find a tux, new and sleek to fit just his body.
He made a mental note to go tux hunting that day during his lunch break. Walking into the lobby that Wednesday morning he pressed the button waiting for the elevator. Too busy clicking and pushing buttons on his Blackberry he didn't seem to notice the warm body next to him.
Preferably half his height.
"So I heard you were looking after the gang bang while I was away."
Miranda Bailey was back. Finaly, the world was hitting equalibrium.
"Miranda." he turned shocked, but still produced a smile. A smile that reached his eyes. That moment was true happiness for him. Seriously.
Without a listening to his conscience, or using the brain God intended him to use he dropped his bag to the ground. Placed his Blackberry in his coat pocket. His arms wide and open.
In one step he enveloped the angry resident into a tight embrace. She struggled and yelled as loud as a woman with her patience could with hold. People's heads turned, some surprised, some laughing at the rare and probably only time a thing like that should happen.
"Shepherd. Sherpherd put me down or I will pull I Mike Tyson andd bite you woman ears off!" she yelled, smuthered.
With one final squeeze he let her go, the smile still on his face.
"You. Are. Back. Thank God Miranda."
"Yeah, I knew you'd be like this." she muttered. "Everybody loves me don't they."
