Chapter 8

As the three males got to their destination. They all got out of the car and started to walk to the D.S. umbrella company. As Alex and Diego walked closer, five stops midway.

Diego: you good?

Five: yeah, just fine.

As they got to the door, Diego takes out his knife before talking.

Diego: how long has it been since you last saw dad?

Five: 45 years.

Alex: damn, that's very long... I wished I see my dad for 45 years.

Five; oh you did. You just don't remember.

Alex; I think I should because I saw him a few weeks ago. All he wanted to talk about me staying in hell. Or of not someone could get out. But no one can since lizy is up to there.

Five: of course. We don't want to forget her.

Alex: yeah we can, she's married to Amenadiel and that man is a bastard.

Diego: daddy issues?

Alex: why would I care for my dad. He was a monster, and I will rather be here. I never wanted my dad to praise me if he didn't accept what I did for him. Then he doesn't deserve me as his son.

Five: so your not mad if amenadiel is the favorite son?

Alex; no, I moved on from that. I have been known that he was the favorite child... I just wished I wasn't... never why do I have to tell you.

Diego; you lost.

Alex: not really.

Diego: any way that's a long trip.

Five: no kidding... you know, out there in the apocalypse, there wasn't a day went by where I didn't hear his voice in my head.

Diego: what was he saying?

Five (sighs); I told you so.

Alex stayed quiet when he clenched his fist.

" don't worry what happens my son, soon you'll understand why I'm doing this..."

Diego: Well, if dad's here, he's never met you before, he won't be able to say "I told you so".

Alex: they always find a way to say I told you so.

Both five and Diego looked at Alex before they looked at his eyes.

Alex: they always "say I told you so"... they always find a fucking way. As those few words stuck to your head and follow you... and you stay thinking that everything is going to be okay... for the rest of the internet.

As they watched Alex's eyes go from blue to bright flame red.

Before five reached for Alex's hand, Alex pulls away before stepping back.
Five sighs before blinking in and opens the door.

Diego: gotta remember that.

As the boys walked into the office. Everything was dusty and old. Five tried turning on the light but it turned off.

Five: shit.

Diego: ill take the right, scream when you guys are in trouble.

As the three walked in the other directions. Five walked in the hallway trying to find something. As Alex was behind him, Alex suddenly stop and grabbed his head. Ignoring five presence. Alex shakes his head and opens his eyes. There was one door across the hallway. Someone was calling for his name. It seems too familiar but he couldn't put his finger on it. All of a sudden the shadow figure appears. Before Alex could question them, they pointed to the wall. As Alex looks over his eyes widen as he hits his back against the wall.
