I looked at Mono blankly, doing the same as he slowly crawled out of the small hole, trying to not alert Hunter again. We slowly crawled into a field of grass where the Hunter held out his torch, looking for us. The multiple straws of grass that hid us gave a low bow as the wind blew, almost knocking off Mono's bag. I suddenly snapped out of my train of thought as Mono had scared a crow, alerting the Hunter. He quickly spun around, responding to the detection of sudden movement around him and aimed his touch through the grass, almost spotting us seeking shelter amongst the thin grass.

He soon paused as he came to see an open area, the Hunter still on us. I looked nervously at him as if to ask "What are we going to do?" He looked at me and pointed a single finger to a small rabbit, thankfully large enough to fit us both. Then, he held up his hand, sticking out his thumb, then his index finger and finally his middle finger and we both shot up and ran for dear life. I stretched out my left hand for him to hold, which he did as we ran to the rabbit hole and dived in, almost being shot.

I fell through landing on Mono, not realising that I was blushing mad. Why did I have to do that? I'm so clumsy, but his stomach was so hard yet his hands are so warm and soft.

"Are you ok?" he asked, snapping me out of my slightly lewd thoughts. Damn.

He signaled me to follow as he slowly began to crouch again making sure he didn't hit his head. It was easier for me to get through, although we were around the same age, he was much bigger than me, taller than me and stronger than me, but definitely not as fast. He was built more for direct strength and combat while I was more built on speed and agility.

Once again we came into a halt and Mono slowly peaked his head out and looked back, telling me that the coast was clear. I slowly crawled out of the hole and looked up at the warm sight of him holding up a hand, offering to help me up. I didn't want to use my energy so I took his hand and stood up, almost tripping onto the soft patch of grass below me. Luckily, Mono had grabbed me before I could make another noise. But when I looked downwards, I saw his hands on my waist, holding it tightly so I wouldn't fall. I felt really awkward and pulled again, Mono letting go of my waist, I let him take lead again and we both fell, making a soft thud on the grass, loud enough for the Hunter to hear.

Bam! He cocked his gun and aimed at the box, Mono behind it. I looked upwards to find a ladder and began to climb it as Mono followed below. I got on top, running to the other side. There was a fragile-looking plank of wood, but I had no other choice but to walk across it. I gave myself a high five as Mono looked at me trying to hold back a laugh. Then, he slowly walked across the plank, which fell. I could feel my senses tingling and I turned back in time to catch Mono before he fell to his death. Without another word I pulled him up and we both made a run for it, trying to dodge several fatal bullets coming from below. I swiftly jumped up, jumping out of some kind of window before landing and a slant roof tile. Before I knew it I slid down to find myself in a disgusting swamp. Looking above me, I saw Mono holding onto the edge of the tile for dear life. I knew he didn't want to get dirty, but he had no other choice. Letting go. We took shelter under the small sewer, hearing a door burst open, presumably from the Hunter. We both slowly started to come out of our hiding spot, pushing against thick mud while trying to not make a sound. I came to a halt, I looked to my side to find a log beside me. Hiding me from the Hunter, we both pushed forward, stopping every time we were behind a log. I looked ahead, to see a weird tree and a log with a heart on it. Mono helped push me up and we pushed the log on the count of three. 1. 2. 3!

Letting the log fall, we both dived back down using the log as shelter, to shield us from the Hunter's bullets. Fuck, we had to go under. Ew. I looked at Mono reluctantly as he gave a "I kinda regret wearing this bag," look. I simply shrugged my shoulders and held my nose, hoping for the best. We both stick our head under the water and I hear Mono take a gasp for air, I guess paper bags aren't the best for swimming. He took the lead once again and hung onto a wooden ladder and began climbing it.

"I am purely disgusted." he said in an annoyed tone. I gave him a smirk and pushed him down and he came tumbling down onto the floor, using his quick reflexes, he did a quick roll, making sure he wouldn't break his spine. I signaled to him, telling him to run. Back to the boxes I guess. Bam! One box down, now the other one. Bam! This one down. I looked at Mono in confusion and he suddenly pointed to a small shed. I frowned, even though I had no choice, I ran towards the shed, locking the door before the Hunter could get in. I had a sudden thud and turned around, a gun was lying on the floor. I guess we had no choice but to shoot him. I ran towards the front end of the gun, lifting it up, Mono lifting up the back, pulling the trigger. Boom. We both fell to the ground, letting go of the gun, trying to get a hold of ourselves.

Then, we climbed out through a small hole and found fresh water to clean ourselves.Mono eagerly sprinted towards the water and started to take off his trench coat, then he realised I was a girl.

"So, how are we going to do this?" I asked, trying to find answers.

"Don't look at eachother, and do not even think about taking a peek at my face." he informed, half-threatening me at the same time. I gave him a simple nod and turned away and began to take off my clothes, resting them on the side of the water, peacefully laying on the soft sand. I wanted to see Mono without his bag and curiosity got the best of me. I slowly tilted my head and saw his back, shoulders and basic figure. He took off his bag, meaning I could see the back of his head. He had black fluffy hair that I was slightly tempted to touch. I quickly turned my head as he realised that I had been observing him. He turned towards me, giving me a frown. To my luck, his bottom half was covered by the freshwater.

"Don't look, I'm getting out." he ordered as he slowly came out of the water.

Shortly after him I decided to get out and put my clothes back on, which I decided to rinse. it turned out that Mono had a spare shirt which he wore and he dried his clean but wet clothes. He sat down, covering his bottom half with his other shirt, daring not to put it on just yet.

After getting sorted we sat down, looking up at the stars, admiring their beauty, until Mono stood up and started walking towards a door which was stuck in the sand.

"Hey Six, can you help me out?" Mono asked. I got up and shot towards him, pushing the door so that it got into the water. I looked at him anxiously, eyeing his paper bag.

"I'm pretty sure it can fit us, as long as we spread the weight apart we'll be fine." he said in an attempt to comfort me. It wasn't the best of comfort, but it's the thought that counts.

"Ladies first." he chuckled, wavering his hand, acting like a gentleman. I rolled my eyes at him and slowly got on the door, Mono following my steps. He gave me a nod and we paddled towards a weird tower. Before I knew it, I fell asleep.

1447 words! Finally a decent chapter. Sadly, my story isn't getting views and I'm the only one who has actually read this. I have a lot of ideas for the end of this story but I don't think it's worth writing a whole book if no one is going to read it. I might give up on this and try write another book, but I'll see how progress is. If no one has read any of my books by the near end part of this story, I'll quit.
