The fence was too tall for children like me and Six to climb and there was no other way to get to the hypnotising Signal Tower. Now, how are we going to do this?

"Ow!" I shriek in response to an elbow in the chest.

"What was that f-" I soon understood what she meant as Six signaled me to help pull a giant dumpster. We both used all our strength to pull the dumpster, behind it was a hole that granted access to the empty school grounds.

"Hey, Six!" I exclaimed, catching Sixes' attention as I kicked an old soccer ball that laid on the wet ground.

She simply looked at me and gave a blank frown.

I could only try to comprehend why she was like this. Why is she so down all the time? Ugh, best to respect her privacy and not ask. I felt a soft nudge and looked upwards to find Six, walking fowards and laying her sharp, amber eyes upon a bunch of tied-up rags. I suddenly ran and caught up to Six, climbing the rags and entering an eerie room. On our left hung a few dusty clothes and on top of them was a portrait of an old, creepy lady who was supposably a teacher. Smoke was emitted from a trash can which stood on the floor. What a strange school.

Six and I, hand in hand crept down a corridor with a door on the left that lead to a small dorm. Multiple bunk beds were laid on the floor suggesting that this was none other than a boarding school. A rug laid on the floor in front of us and on it stood a ball. Me, being the curious kid I was, I showed no signs of hesitation and eagerly ran towards the ball and picked it up, holding it in my hands as if it was a priceless artifact. Six followed my example and picked up a small, wooden building block, she looks so cute. Ugh, Mono you can't simp for a girl you just met.

"Ow! Why do you keep hitting me?" questioned Mono as Six bluntly hit him.

"Quit daydreaming." she answered.

Without another word, Mono had stormed out of the room, Six trailing behind him like a ghost. They walked across the corridor and saw something intriguing, a lever sat on the wall with cables running out of it, supposably leading somewhere. Mono jumped and caught the lever, pulling it down with his weight. The lights that hung from the ceiling flickered before the room turned dark. Both Six and Mono were now back to back, trying to be alert of anything coming their way.

Then, it happened. Mono heard the familiar sound of his partner, screaming for help and the thud of her wooden block. Mono flinched and tensed his muscles, he tried feeling his surroundings, nothing. He turned to his left and saw two small rays of light. Mono quickly got the catch and aimed his toy ball the best he could. A picture came tumbling down and a small hole appeared in front of him. He climbed through the hole and found himself in a small, cramped room. It was well hidden for a reason. A single chair stood in the middle of the room. Behind it was a toolbox, Mono opened the box to reveal a bunch of junk. He searched his hand through the pile and flinched due to something sharp touching his left index finger. A small pocket small was uncovered and put into Mono's pocket. This should be sharp enough to cut rope if I ever need to, might come in handy Mono thought. He looked to his right, an unusually tilted plank laid in the floor. He rushed over to it and jumped on it. Crack, crack, crack. Mono felt the floor under him collapsing. It didn't take long for Mono the feel the unusually comforting presence of a metal floor. He was once again cramped, this time in a vent. He slowly crawled through the squishy vent and fell out, almost breaking his back and he hit the solid, hard wooden floor. A piercing pain could be felt in Mono's right  ring finger. Damn, a splinter, just what I needed, Mono thought, plucking it out. He was welcomed into a dark room. A fallen locker laid stationary in front of him. A hair-raising sight could be seen, a horrific shadow laid on the wall diagonal to him. The figure's neck stretched upwards before a door was closed, causing the shadow to disappear. Mono could feel his incredibly dry throat as he awkwardly gulped. What the fuck was that, he asked to himself mentally.
