A static figure appeared in front of me, it appeared to have my form just more different. It had some sort of clothing, a raincoat to be exact. What did it want?

"What do you want?" I asked, accidentally shouting. No response, not a word came out of its mouth.

"Six?" Another figure sat up and looked at me in confusion, that figure was Mono.

Then, the figure had disappeared, in thin air.

"Hey, c'mon let's go." Mumbled Mono

He stood up and offered his hand which I gladly took. And we both went on journeying to what I think was a signal tower that stood tall, towering over the old building of the Pale City. A large gaping void appeared in front of us , our only way to cross it was by a small group of planks. Mono had volunteered to go first, looking at the bridge, I then decided that it was safe to cross and then slowly made my way across. The planks creaked as I began to move forward, luckily I managed to make it across.

Upon waiting for me to cross, Mono then took my hand and guided me down the gloomy streets until he came to a halt.

"Hey, Six. Could you help me push this dump?" he asks, pointing to a dump truck. I walk forward towards the dump and start to push it against a wall causing it's lid to collapse. This allowed us to parkour up to a rubble wall and progress before I was once stopped as Mono picked up a paper boat.

"How does the paper not soak?" he asks in confusion.

"I could ask the same about your bag." I reply, forcing a slight giggle out of Mono.

"Hey, erm.. Mono, I'm cold, can we seek shelter?"

"Sure thing."

"Oh, hey Six! There's a yellow raincoat in here, come!"

A raincoat? Not much, but it'll do for now. There's no point of complaining anyways. I entered through a broken door, there sat a yellow raincoat which looked like it would be a perfect fit for me. I rushed over to investigate before slipping it on over my navy blue sweater. It was oddly comfy and seemed to do a decent job against the rain.

"Hey, you ready Six?"

I inch forward to take his hand and we both come across a door, once again, I offer to boost Mono up. Using all of the muscle I had to launch him as high as I could, he stepped on my hands before catching a grip of the door and swinging it open. The door swung open revealing a messy workshop. Clothes were scattered on the floor and needles were in all sorts of different places, how peculiar.

We soon came across an old building with a red cross on it, suggesting that it was a hospital. We both entered through an open window to our right into a dark old room. I could feel the cold feel of the floor underneath my feet and the eerie silence. Both me and Mono stayed silent, both nervous and afraid, eventually we moved on. Stacks of cloth and pills sat on trays, perhaps this was equipment for patients? There were messy hospital beds covered in blood which gave off a rotten smell that polluted the air. I could feel my insides lurching in disgust, the place was incredibly creepy. We stumbled across a faint ray of light coming from a door, Mono of course being the idiot that he was, obviously decided to push the door open. Big mistake, a gaping void met him, almost devouring him before I could catch his fall. Without hesitation I slowly pulled him back up onto the ground he once jumped off of. There were more hospital beds hung on cloth which was suspended from the ceiling above us. Parkour, huh? I step back before jumping over the ledge and landing on the first jump, parkouring from bed to bed. I waited for Mono to finish before I jumped onto a cloth-made rope and began ascending and then, jumping from bed to bed again and jumping through a large elevator figure. A power socket was attached to the wall with some sort of battery powering what seemed like the lights. Mono pulled it out and as expected, the light flickered before the room turned dark. The light level was low, but still bearable and before you knew it, we had already progressed to the other side. Another socket, this time empty, was attached to the wall. Of course, Mono slotted it in and the lights re-appeared followed by a strange sound. I turned around in slight panic, relaxing as it was just an opening elevator shaft. We jumped down and landed on the top of the shaft, both our weight caused it to slowly fall. Mono and I began to panic before we  found a vent for us to crawl through. I slowly made my way through the cramped air-vent, this time taking lead, falling into a pitch black room, the only light source was a flashlight which Mono had happily picked up.

"Hold my hand, I'll guide you through this troublesome nightmare." He whispered under his breath.

Sorry for the major delay! Last episode I promised a double episode for y'all but then I lost motivation and school started again. I tried making a longer chapter today but that didn't really work out. I'm sorry for the boring plot right now but this is only the beginning as I now officially announce that this book will be part of a series.

PS. I'll give a hint about the series name and the name of the following book when the last chapter of this book is released. Stay tuned!
