The four musketeers (read the writer's note)

"Its been three days Duryodhan.  Nayana is not returning" Karn said.
Karn himself was confused. Sitara was the reason Nayana had broken her marriage. She loved Duryodhan then why wasnt she returning?
"I need to go to Panchal. Nayana is definitely in some problem!" Duryodhan said.
Draupadi had left for Hastinapur with Sitara. She and the pandavas had left . Only Arjun stayed with Duryodhan and Karn.
"If you feel so then let's go" Arjun said.
On reaching Panchal everything seemed completely normal. Drishtidyumna welcomed them. He was not talking to his father after he tried to curse his sister.
"Is Nayana here?" Duryodhan asked.
"Nayana...I dont know she came back. Then she and her baby disappeared. " Drishtidyumna said . He himself was extremely worried about Nayana.
Furyodhan suddenly recalled . While he was escaping with Sitara, King Drupad had come to visit Nayana. After that she went missing. Drishtidyumna was completely unaware of the situation. However Duryodhan couldnt trust Dhristidyumna. He said he wanted to stay in Panchal for a few days. Drupad was uneasy but he couldnt refuse as refusing would increase their doubts against him.

"What is the matter Putri?" Bhism asked Kunti in a concerned tone. Amba too was worried. They were in Hastinapur. Amba didnt want yo come inside the palace but Bhism was adamant. Moreover Kunti wanted to discuss something very important with them.
"Tatsree...I have committed a huge sin" Saying this Kunti broke down. Bhism and Amba were taken aback.
"What's wrong Kunti? You can tell us" Amba said assuring her.
Thus Kunti narrated the story of Karn's birth. How he was her first son and how she had abandoned him in the river . Bhism and Amba were too shocked to speak.
"Kunti...you...how could you commit such a sin!" Bhism exclaimed with horror.
"Kunti I understand your situation. But how was your reputation or your societal status more important than your baby's life! You have committed a mistake Kunti...a grave mistake. However I dont blame you for the past. You were a child back then but now.." Amba said disappointment visible in her voice.
"Exactly now you are mature enough. You are old enough to realise your mistake. You knew Karn was your son yet you didnt tell us! Why Kunti! That biy has gone through so much ! Solely because of you. Thank God atleast his brothers love him even though they dont know his real identity. You need to tell them Kunti! Karn needs to know he is a kshatriya! He is the heir to the throne of Hastinapur! It pleases me to think that a just and powerful ruler like Karn will rule over Hastinapur" Bhism said. He always liked Karn amd now when he knew Karn was his grandson he felt all his affections directed towards his eldest grandson.
"I will tell them...I will..but Tatsree...Karn...he will loath me...mu own sons will hate me" Kunti said as tears formed in her eyes.
"Even though you sin is unpardonable I feel Karn and the pandavas will forgive you. You are their mother Kunti. And dont worry. Take your time. But do tell them Kunti" Bhism added.
"Bhism you shouldn't be so hard in Kunti. I understand her situation as well. And trust me they will forgive you" Amba added with a smile.
Draupadi who was about to enter their chamber had heard the name 'Karn' being mentioned as she listened to the entire story she was shocked. Karn was a demi god. She had to.tell Karn about it but then again she also.wantdd Kunti to make the confession. So she decided to stay quiet about this matter.

"Why didn't you tell us earlier Bhrata Duryodhan? If king Drupad was here to meet Nayana right before she went missing then it has to be his doing! He must have kidnapped Nayana!" Parth said.
"Mitr why didnt you tell us?! God knows where he has kept Nayana." Karn said worrying about Nayana.
"Maybe he has imprisoned her" a voice was heard.
"Drishtidyumna! So you know!" Parth said with anguish.
"I said "maybe". I dont know and do you really think I would have allowed him to cause any harm to her. I am in love with that woman!" Drishtidyumna said .
Duryodhan looked at him. He didnt hate him. Infact he understood his situation. He nodded.
"I will help you guys. My father definitely has imprisoned her in the underground cellar where she is absolutely untraceable. Tonight we will go underground. I swear to God I will not rest till I find Nayana" Drishtidyumna said.
Duryodhan joined him. Parth and Karn too joined though they were a little skeptical about Drishtidyumna.
As night time arrived they started their plan. The dasis informed them that the king was asleep. The dasis were helping  them as they loved Nayana dearly .
Karn and Arjun waited upstairs waving the way so that they can escape. As Dhristidyumna and Duryodhan went underground they saw many cellars. The guards viewed them with discretion. Even Dhristidyumna was not allowed at this part of the palace.
"Pitasree has sent me here. He wanted to free a prisoner" Dhristidyumna said.
"Sorry Rajkumar but our Majesty has given strict instructions to not allow anyone enter or exit the underground cellar unless he himself arrives" the chief guard said.
Dhristidyumna and Diryodhan looked at each other. They had somewhat expected this. It was time to follow the back up plan.
"Alright" Dhristidyumna said .
As the chief guard was about to turn around they strangled him sealing his mouth. By seconds he was unconscious. The other guards were not aware if this.
"The king has sent us. The chief guard is with the king. He told you all to release the girl victim he had captured yesterday" Dristudyumna said.
The guards not finding their chief in his usual position believed them and opened the lock of Nayana's cellar. Nayana was sleeping. Duryodhan's eyes were filled with tears as he witnessed her condition. Her clothes were dirty...her hands were tied with metallic chains and her bodh was filled with cuts and wounds.
He carried her in his arms. Nayana woke up. As she opened her eyes she saw Duryodhan smiling at him. She couldnt believe her eyes. She immediately hugged Duryodhan. Drishtidyumna smiled a melancholic smile. However he was extremely happy to see Nayana safe.
They went upstairs. Karn and Arjun by then had defeated the gate keepers and they were lying unconscious on the floor. The four friends hugged each other. Nayana and Duryodhan pulled Dhristidyumna to join their hug.
"Thank you so much for everything Dhristidyumna. You are truly my best friend" Nayana said thanking him with all her heart.
"Dont thank me. You all can ridicule me for this but I do love Nayana and helping her was something I would do even if my father killed me. So dont thank me." Dhristidyumna added.
"No one is going to ridicule you Mitr. You are our friend. And remember you are a human not a means for your father yo extract revenge. We will meet again soonDhristudyumna." Duryodhan said.
The four returned back to Hastinapur. Arjun had apologised to Nayana for judging her so early.  Nayana whole hearted forgave him. Duryodhan yoo had forgiven Karn for hiding the secret. They were the four musketeers again.

"Why are you behaving like this with me! I love you!" Draupadi expressed her feeling as tears rolled down her cheek.
"So do I! But I feel suffocated as I realise you are never completely mine! I am married to you but then so is Angraj!" Arjun said frustrated.
"I am yours. Me and Angraj...we are married for namesake. There is nothing between us. I didnt want to marry him!" Draupadi tried to explain.
"I know Panchaali.I dont blame you for this but seeing you with my worst enemy saddens me. You are Parth's Panchaali but you are also Karn's Draupadi! And it frustrates me...If someday Angraj wants his rights over you I wont be able to handle it!" Arjun said in an extremely frustrating manner and left the chamber.
"How is it my fault! I have always loved Arjun then why did I have to marry Angraj as well. Arjun is my husband but I am Karn's wife as well. I cant live like this any longer" Draupadi said to herself teary eyed.
She looked at the high balcony in her chamber. The beautiful thought of giving up her life was possessing her mental stability. She couldnt handle so many complications. She will end her sufferings right now.
She stepped towards the balcony. One more step and she would fall and her death will put an end to her pains and sufferings. As she was going to proceed she felt a sudden pull. Someone pulled her away from the balcony.
Draupadi was taken aback. She landed on a strong chest and a pair of arms held her safely. She could feel her husband breathe close to her ear. Arjun was here. She couldnt help but smile. She turned around. The man before her frightened her. It was not Arjun.
"What on earth do you think you were doing Panchali!" Karn exclaimed extremely disturbed and concerned.
"Angraj...Its you" Draupadi said. She was disappointed.  She expected Arjun.
"How can you even think of ending your life Panchali!" Karn asked extremely anguished.
"I hate my life Angraj! I loved Arjun. I married him. Why did you have to ruin our perfect life?" Draupadi said.
