Duryodhan kept running away from Panchal. He had to escape with the little baby. Nayana would handle herself amd she would reach him soon. Sk this was the secret Nayana was hiding. She had chosen this baby over him. But the most important question: Whose baby was it? Duryodhan always felt she loved him but then this baby? How ? Thousands of questions were hidden in Duryodhan's mind and he verges well knew the only person who.coild.answer these questions was Nayana. As he kept running the baby girl started crying. Her name was Sitara as Drishtidyumna had said. She was so beautiful. Absolutely divine. She had a shine in her face making her different from ordinary human beings. Duryodhan stopped and tended to the baby. She seemed a little uncomfortable to see an unknown face but as Duryodhan sang his favourite lullaby the baby started laughing. He felt a strange joy as the baby laughed. He hugged the baby and held her close to his chest.
"Maharaj Drupad...I am the princess of Dwarka...if you kill me my brother will end the entire kingdom!" Nayana said with rage. She was earlier scared for her baby and now when she knew her baby was safe with Duryodhan the fear evaporated from her mind.
"I know that very well Nayana and that is the reason I will not kill you...I will imprison you! No.one.will get to know.how Nayana vanished in thin air. AMD I very well know my stupid son is in love with you. He will never allow me to imprison you! But he doesn't need to know! I am the king!" Drupad said with authority laughing his brutal laughter and within moments some guards surrounded her.
"Stop this arya! You know what is happening! Stop this!" Radha said as she saw Nayana being imprisoned.
"This is my sister's destiny Radhe. I cant interrupt. This imprisonment is necessary! I could have release my father Vasudev and my mother Devaki from my uncle's prison but it was their destiny. They had a mission...a certain reason for this imprisonment and as the reason fulfilled their torment ended. This torment this imprisonment is a part of Nayana's destiny and it has several reasons. And this incident will lead to so many changes in the Aryavrat!" Krishna said sadly as he witnessed his sister being captured.
"Where is she! Why isnt she here yet!" Duryodhan said as he waited for Nayana outside the Panchal border. What was taking her so long?
"Mitr Duryodhan...I need to confess something to you " Karn said.
"What is it mitra?" Duryodham asked as he handed the baby to Draupadi. The baby needed a woman's care and Draupadi was a known face.
"About Nayana's baby...I knew about sitara " Karn finally confessed.
Duryodhan was so confused. Karn knew! He didnt tell him! He stayed silent.
"Nayana while leaving had informed me the real reason she was breaking her marriage...this baby Sitara..." Karn mumbled.
"You have hurt me today Angraj. You have really hurt me today. You knew why Nayana left amd you never told me!" Duryodhan said a distant feeling I'm his voice.
" I was stuck mitra...Nayana made me promise. Moreover things were so complicated. You were sad. I didn't know what to do" Karn said.
"Who is her father?" Duryodhan asked finally gathering all his courage.
"You dont know the incident?" Karn asked. He was genuinely shocked. Nayan had not told him yet. Duryodhan still believed Nayana had betrayed him.
Karn narrated the entire birth story to Duryodhan.
"She...she is the most stubborn girl I have ever witnessed. Coildnt she tell me the entire incident! Why is she like this! Why!!!! She destroyed so much of our happy moments! What did she think I won't accept her or Sitara. I hereby declare Sitara as my daughter! My loving daughter! She has disappointed me and so have you mitr" Duryodhan said.
"Nayana definitely has some reason Mitr. Wait for her arrival" Karn said.
"What if she doesn't come? What if she leaves?" Duryodhan asked out of the blue.
"Leaving her baby behind? Impossible!" Draupadi said.
"But why isnt she still here then?!" Duruodhan was losing his mind.
"What is Maharaj Drupad..." Karn was fearing the worst.
"Impossible! Dristidyumna is In love with Nayana...he wont let pitasree do amything" Draupadi said.
"Your brother is in love with Nayana?!" Duryodhan amd Karn asked at the same time.
Draupadi nodded.
"Our love story has so many hurdles mitra! Is it my life or a hurdle race!" Duryodhan said.
"Dont worry mitr...Nayana loves you...that's all!" Karn said.
